I can’t, officially, tell yet but I’m sure it’ll start being noticeable really, really soon.
It’s been hard work making my waist smaller...
And I owe it all to itchy ankles.
Really, really itchy ankles.
I’ve had itchy ankles before. In fact, I think I could be diagnosed with IAS if I could just find the right specialist. And find some kind of reason to seek a diagnosis.
BUT...
Now I have to scratch my ankle with my fingers it’s turning into a big problem.
There’s an awful lot of bending and stretching in my life that, quite frankly, is exhausting.
And all the bending and stretching is because of this..
It’s true.
A while back a sweet friend of mine and I were having one of those ‘Infomercial’ conversations...”Have you tried this new product? Have you tried that?” and in the midst of our exotic, middle-aged house-wifey conversation the subject of dry heels came up.
Why? I have no idea. But it did.
And we talked about dry heels for awhile. Yeah. We both live an exotic life. Big time. My friend told me about this:
...but I scoffed.
I’d tried all the dry heel stuff before...crisco, olive oil soaks, this lotion, udder cream, that lotion...and nothing worked.
I forgot all about the ‘Infomercial’ conversation until about a week later when a small box arrived in the mail containing a tube of this highly recommended cream.
So I tried it.
For three days and three nights like the label said.
Every morning and every night after I applied it, I would rub my heels against Mr. Jenny. “Ouch! Geez, take a sander to those heels!” he would yell. He’s kind of a baby about stuff like pain.
But on the third night he said, “Hey, do that again...”
And when I did he said, “I can tell that stuff is working. Your heels hardly hurt me at all.”
The change after a few more days was miraculous.
Really.
And when I went to get a pedicure a week or so after I began using the lotion, the nail tech got all excited.
I always go to the same nail place and the girl always gets out the industrial strength de-callouser when I walk in the door.
This time, though, she started my pedicure and stopped.
She called the other nail tech over.
The chattered away using a bunch of words that sounded like ‘ing’ and ‘oy’.
After a few minutes of this indecipherable conversation, the nail tech said to me, “What you do? What you do to heel?”
She chattered away again and then repeated the question.
“It’s this lotion that my friend sent to me. It’s called Flexitol and it really works!”
She got excited. She asked me where she could buy it. She asked me if it was expensive. She told me, “I no think this your feet! It not hurt me when I touch!”
Apparently that is a pretty funny joke in a nail salon. There was a lot of laughter and chatter after that loud announcement.
Hmmm...
But...
The point of this story is that...
Okay. Well, it’s really not a story but...
The point of this post is that we’re friends, right?
And friends have strange,’ Infomercial’ conversations sometimes.
And this is one of those times.
If your heels are like this...
Then you might want to try this.
But be prepared for your waist getting smaller.
I can no longer find relief from an itchy ankle or calf by rubbing my heels over the spot.
Sad...but true.
Now I have to do all kinds of bending and stretching to reach allllll the way

to my ankles...
Mr. Jenny is one lucky, lucky guy...a wife with sexy, smooth, painless heels AND now a slimmer waistline?
If he could just figure out a way to keep my blabbering on and on and on about nothing (I know, it’s hard to believe that might happen with me, isn’t it?) I bet he would be a happy, happy man.
Sigh.

Now that sounds like a product I should be trying!
Where do you get it??? My heel are terrible and I need this stuff desparately!
I'm on it!
Flexitol is for me.
=)
I WILL be trying this too! I could use some softer heels AND a slimmer waist:) Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!
good to know Jenny. Now is there anything for sagging neck and tits?
Just wonderin' - I don't need them or anything.
Wow! I need this stuff! I feel like you in the nail salon !!!Thanks for sharing!
omg i need that stuff!!! i have the worst heels ever ... and i do use my rough heels for scratching my itchy legs .... i am going on a hunt for this stuff, today!
I'm losing weight laughing...not at you, but at your delightful way of telling the story.
Thanks so much for the infomercial!!!I have purchased countless products for my heals and just gave up because none of them worked. I have been using a callous razor for years, but it only works so well - gets off the really crusty stuff but doesn't really soften anything. This I will try. Where did you get it? Is it in the section with the feet stuff?
Wonder if this would work on any other rough body parts? I'm kinda leathery.
Oh baby, do I need some of that stuff bad. The heel thing is somethin' I've battled for years!!!
I've got a birthday comin' up in September. Heeeheheheh!
God bless ya sweetie and proudly sport some sandals now!!!
I'm so excited for ya Miss Sexy Feet!!!
I use one of those scrapey thingy's that works pretty good, plus a ton of moisturizer, but they still could use a little work...I am now on the hunt for this product! I hope they let it into Canada. lol.
I may try that. I hope it's cheaper than the cream I get from the dermatologists, which isn't very effective. Down here everyone gets cracked heels and mine look terrible. When I worked I wore socks and boots and my heels looked smoothe and pink. But after retirement I try to wear as little clothes as possible without being indecent and getting arrested. The heat is something terrible...because of the humidity. I did try Heeltastic but that stuff stinks and the girls didn't sleep under the covers to often when I put that stuff on. But I did notice a difference. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. Thanks for the cracked heel advisory. My first.
Wow?? Smooth feet and a smaller waist? SIGN ME UP!!
Ok, does it work on callused toes? That is my issue. And really, I can't stay up late to see for myself...I am relying on you Jenny.
ps. Those ladies say stuff about me at the nail place, but I am assuming they are talking about what a big tipper I am???
xoxo
Too funny, Jenny! I think only you would lose weight this way! :)
Thank you for this very informative session! My feet are so bad, I can't even bring myself to the nail salon!! And since I can't reach my feet, they just don't get the attention they used to get! Maybe if I starting reaching for my ankles, I will lose some of my waist and then be able to reach futher, and then maybe use this product and then... I can go to the nail salon and listen to the chatter and laughing at my funny-looking toes!
Great post, Miss Jenny!
Ha Jenny, this is an A+ for weight loss creativity.
Who would've thought that itchy heels could cause a slimmer waist? I am almost afraid to wish for itchy heels but I sure do need a slimmer waist!
Congratulations on your heels AND a smaller waitline!
Such the multi-tasker you are! :)
Melinda
Did you buy stock in the company before you posted this ?
I will join the throngs and please the pedicurist who was sure I had some terrible tropical problem...
I'd sunburned my toes which added to her work...
Love the thinner waist positive outcome ... but now you don't need to reach down and scratch. Sigh. Life's never ending dilemma's ... solve one problem, another crops up!
Peace,
Siggi in Downeast Maine
You crack me up. :)
Ahhhhhh! I thought you were going to say 'Miraculously smooth heels, bumpy rash on ankles, don't touch this stuff with a barge pole'. LOL
It's great when something actually works like it's supposed to!
Love the results..how do I get cracked heels so I can try it?!!!!
My face hurts from laughing! I couldn't imagine where you were going with this. You would be so gratified to hear me laughing out loud with no one around.
Hey, 'ing' and 'oy' was it? How tiny are these women? I know of a possible well paying position. The folks were leaning towards the Ukraine....but no firm decision has been reached!
Does this mean I can stop going to the gym?
YES!! Everyone needs this stuff! And how funny that I was thinking of doing a post on the same issue, less the infomercial and mr things....I got the same little box of wonder from our wonderful woman friend:) and it DOES work! I'm ready for my second box! You're both smooth in my life:)
hy-sterical! thanks for the tip -- I am off to Walgreens :)
I think you'll soon be sent a lifetime shipment of this stuff as t thanks for the huge spike in demand. I wonder how long it will take them to figure it out?
Meanwhile, a slimmer waist is a good thing, so I won't tell you that a long-handled back scratcher would work ever so well at reaching those itchy ankles.
I thought you were going to say the stuff made you itch...I was thrilled to hear it didn't and that it works. I will be ordering immediately!
I never order that stuff on television, but today I did see these top things that go under a t-shirt and fits tightly around the hips so you don't get the gap between jeans and T when you bend over...
You've convinced me, I'm going to look for this magic in a bottle the next time I go to the store. My feet are lethal! The only time they get soft is when we're on vacation and I'm walking barefoot in the sand every day (yet another reason to live on the coast!). If this stuff works for me, I will walk all the way to Arizona just to give you a hug. Really. I will.
I thought the punch line might be that you're allergic to the stuff and by not using it your ankles are itch-free.
::sigh::
I didn't see that coming! You just know that the people working in those places are talking about the customers big time.
Wow - THIS tangent got me really confused! Maybe it's because I'm a research person, but I don't know how you can link all those things together? (I know, you'll say, "Easy!") You know I'm joking:)
Tee hee Jenny! I think I may have to try this!!
Love,
LuLU~*xoxo
did you send for it or did your friend get it for you? I have never needed a lot of lotion but here in Utah it is so dry...My feet could use some love.....
Love that stuff! I put it on my elbows sometimes too.
