Oooh, that sounded good.
I wonder if these delusions are wishful thinking or a sign of some deeper mental imbalance.
Hey, I heard that.
Now take that back.
I was just trying to make some conversation before we head off to a Granddaughters basketball game. You didn't have to make fun of me... geez.
Anyway, first of all the winner of the box of candy (it has been sitting here on my desk and acting mighty tempting, I'll have you know) was drawn from a total of 83 comments and done from the True Randon Number Generator which told me this:
True Random Number Generator
4
Number four is this comment: Theresa said...
Excuse me, I couldn't hear you. Did you say I won? :)
If I get your address quick enough I can get this in the mail this morning Theresa! Congratulations!
Next...since I have been accused of never doing any paper crafts (ahhhemmm.... you know who you are) I'm showing some super-simple Valentines I made this year using various papers cut at the die-cut lab by our house. Part of the reason these are so simple is that I made almost 80 of them! Yikes! But I think they're cute even if they are just kind of cheating paper crafts.
I think you could probably just attach the little collage of hearts together with adhesive but I am having a little fling with my fancy little stapler thanks to my lovely cousin, Allie, and it would feel betrayed if I did not use it on every single papercraft project.
And lastly, keeping with my giveaway week!
Todays drawing will be for a $10.00 gift card to either Joanne Fabrics or Michaels...your choice.
I will select the winner for this Saturday drawing on Sunday morning sometime (how's that for vague...but hey, a girl cannot concentrate when someone is giving her a pedicure and feeding her chocolates, right?)
Have a happy Saturday!
Holy Smoke Batman, I didn't even finish reading your blog. Sorry I had to hurry and say "THANK YOU, JENNY MATLOCK"! I am about to wet my pants, I am sooooo excited. Thanks for making my day, I knew if I kept on begging I would eventually win... hahahaha! Hugs!
ReplyDeletei like your cheating valentines LOL :D
ReplyDeletetiny staples are very IN right now, so use em! :D
Congrats to Theresa! Jenny you always make my day and make me laugh out loud! Happy Saturday to you!
ReplyDeleteLove your Valentines, using your fancy smancy stapler.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Theresa! But maybe you need to read Jenny's "tinkle" post lol. I think your morning sounds perfect. And not delusional at all. Daydreaming is good! Have fun at the BBall game. Kathy
ReplyDeleteSuper cute post. I think I might follow you. (That always sounds so stalkerish.)
ReplyDeleteI just inherited a sewing machine and plan to spend my winter learning how to use it. I could really use the gift card. "Please!" she says on bended knee.

I love the smell of glue in the morning! Those VD crafts were cuuuttte! Gonna make me some, next year...if you read my blog...this year's VD is a bust! :(
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner(sigh..not me AGAIN) but hey maybe I didn't need to win yummy chocolates! Maybe I'm meant to win the gift certif! Huh? Do you think that's it Miss Jenny?? Maybe Me?? Ok, well random number thingy can't be bribed ( I tried already) so I will just have to chance it to luck! Love your valentine's by the way and 80??? OK that must be another post! LOL
ReplyDeleteWell, wtg to another winner that IS NOT ME! LOL
ReplyDeleteCan you send your girl over to shave my legs? I haven't done them since... get this... Dec. 24th. I shit you not.
Justine :o )
congrats to the winner!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Valentine's Day!
Those are such lovely Valentine's. All I did was use that sweet baby angel cupid that's the header on my blog page and the poem I wrote that I posted awhile back. Nothing too out of the ordinary!!
ReplyDeleteJenny, I might just have to forgo my giveaway restriction (loose my fetters) and throw my name in the hat! I could use an extra $10 because I need some frames from Michael's. But just as soon as I do, I'll lose and be cast into a pit of despair, thinking I got what I deserved from breaking my parole. So, my sweet friend, it's a no win for me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day and as my gift to you, I left a recipe on my blog that neither one of us can eat. LOL! But there's some eye candy in which we may indulge...
XO,
Sheila :-)
What are you doing with 80 CUTE paper Valentines?
ReplyDeleteMichael's would be my place for the gift card since we don't have a Joanne's anymore.
THANK YOU!
Congrats to Theresa! Those are cute Valentines.
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Michael's because the nearest Joanne Fabrics is near at all! Thanks!
Manuela
Girl, that is not cheating at all! Those V-Day cards are cuuu-u-uuute!!! Fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteMan that is a lot of valentines. I think the staples would be the best way to go and I know how your feel about not being fair to your crafting tools. lol I have a little book binding system that has been sitting on my work counter waiting to be used for oh so long of time. Congrats to the winner of the chocolate. You should have seen me tear my house apart last night looking for some chocolate! Well you know the saying try, try again. Not to hard when the blog your reading is so fun.
ReplyDeleteThe hearts are a great idea and so cute! I could use a trip to Michael's:)
ReplyDeleteAnd for some reason, I got a craving for chocolate all of a sudden!
I love visiting....you always make me smile.
ReplyDeleteBlessings.
Jo
C O N G R A T S to all you lovely winners! I'm off to read some of your earlier posts ...
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Wonderful Warm V- Weekend!
Saskia
Very cute. I only made one handmade card this year and that alone was exhausting, lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know to come back. You are only giving away a GC to my vice in life. (every other shopping excursion I can at least find a use for). Fabric is my major downfall in life seriously. I don't sew and yet I have a need for beautiful fabric. So yes I would love to win this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWell, those Valentines are cute....why so many of them?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
I actually did lay abed today until... 9 0'clock! I got up at my usual ten minutes before seven, then realized no one else was calling for juice or having to go potty so I went back to sleep. It was such an unnatural situation, though, I kept having anxiety dreams. First I dreamed Justin had chicken pox, then I dreamed I opened up my cupboard to see a hole in my house! It was just one dream like that after the other! Weird. I must not like letting myself sleep in.
ReplyDeleteWow Congrats to your winner. I really love your Valentine's...
ReplyDeleteCute Valentines! I can see how you would be tired of making them after 80,000 of them though! What a great giveaway, I would be thrilled with either one, although Michaels is more convenient. Happy Valentine's Day Jenny and have a terrific weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Theresa! go girl.
ReplyDelete<><
They look great!
ReplyDeletewonderful valentine's!! :) i want a chocolate and pedicure now that you mention those 2 things... cheers and happy valentine's day!
ReplyDeleteYou know what JEnny, you would not know what to do if you had someone "do" everything for you! You might like for a few hours, days, or even a month but so you would be so bored that you would have to "do" something!!! that is the way you are and that's why we love to read you....you are a real girl just like us!
ReplyDeleteI love visiting your blog, you are so funny. Your valentines are pretty.
ReplyDeleteNow, go get those toes prettied up.
hugs
Sissie
Love the Valentine's cards you created! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteChocolate and a pedicure.......I had a Chocolate Pedicure once....talk about yummy! Love the heart cutouts, super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhooooohooooo!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these stores!!!!!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to you!
Melinda
Very cute paper crafts, if I weren't so tired, I'd try making a few myself...I think I'm going to eat some chocolate instead ;) !
ReplyDeleteI got my adorable little package in the mail today, I'll let you know what the little cake roll and cupcake are actually made from once I finish admiring them all packaged up! I promise not to take too long.
Thanks again for being such a generous, generous lady.
Happy Hearts Day!
Catherine ... off to sneak a few pieces of Valentine's candy (my children have some sort of 6th sense about these things so I have to be very, very quiet)
Paper crafts? Is there a paper craft requirement? I'm going to have to retire from blogging if that's the case. Of course I do have all that scrapbook stuff I bought a few years ago...I did do one page for each of my kids. I just got overwhelmed by the 20+ years of pictures to go through!
ReplyDeleteSorry...rambling (or dishing it back)!
Sue
Hey, congrats to Theresa for joining the ranks of *Matlock Winners* hehe
ReplyDeleteAnd I gotta tell ya Jenny, as I read about you having the legs shaved and toes prettied up , my thoughts were.. hey it's not summer yet!
DUH...it is where you are.
So you get pampered all ya want, even if it is in the delusional mode..
Have a Happy Valentines Day... to a hairless, chocolate filled friend!!!
ReplyDeleteJudy
