A Rose by any other name...

So... Did I tell you we have a new Grandlittle on the way?

It's a boy. And he might be born on my birthday, April 19!!!

I'm excited! The kids haven't officially announced the name yet, but I suspect it's gonna be some form of 'Jenny'.

Right?
Not quite sure how they're gonna masculinize that name...

Maybe Jennster.

Or Jenniam.

Or even Jennielle.

I'm just hoping they don't try to tie my middle name in.

Yeah. Using the middle name 'Rose' would definitely be a stretch!

Sigh...

PS. It took me almost an hour but I think I figured out how to load this video so you can view it!

  9. What a blessing! Grandchildren are SUCH a joy and I know, from your blogs, that you are ready for another 'littlest' as the girls move into school and all their big-girl activities. Congratulations....no name suggestions....a little worried, although there are possibilities for 'Rose'....think 'Rosie Greer' and other great male Rosies.

  16. Aw how cool. You can actually see the chambers in his heart. How about Jenner for a male version of Jenny. Is this your first grandson?? If so I got ya beat by 6. Ha ha! I hope that he will be born healthy and with all his appurtenants. Two of my grandsons have birthdays a day apart and they don't like it. But I guess sharing that day with gwammaw is different. Will he be calling you Gwammaw or Granny Hee Hee. Mine call me different things...Grammaw, Grammo and Maw maw. I don't care just as long as they show me the love. Congrats! Hugs.~Ames

  19. Congratulations ! A boy !! I wished I had a grand daughter, lol ! I only have who just celebrated his first birthday. My son made a State secret out of the name, nobody knew until he was born, we were a little offended as grandparents !

  24. exciting!
Lots of names have "er" or "et" on the end.
    Jener
    Jenet

Rose, however, could be problematic for a boy.
That is a great middle name, by the way! It's my daughter's middle name (as well as my MIL's middle name and my Dad's mother's first name).
