But on Sunday I got to visit quite possibly one of the BEST historic BIRTHPLACES...EVER!
My daughters, Mr. Jenny and I went to...
...take a breath...you're gonna be excited...
SPRINKLES!!!!!!!!
The original start of the haute cuisine cupcake craze in the United States.
Okay, it was technically not 'the' Sprinkles Cupcake Bakery cuz I'm pretty sure that one is in LA, but it was pretty darned close. There are only 10 in the United States and we went to the one in Scottsdale.
And there was a line.
A lot of other history fans, I guess.
Not only did we go and pay homage to the historic site, we each got a free cupcake. Just for saying 'Touchdown!'
Black and white, raspberry chocolate chip, coconut lemon, red velvet and (yumohyumohyum!) salted caramel cupcakes.
Delicious AND historic.A perfect little field trip all rolled into one! (yumohyumohyum)
I love history.

Oh, I love history and trips to see historic things. A cupcake place now that would be triple interesting and fun. They look very yummy. Hugs

great! I have friends who SWEAR by these...they would drive 100 miles for one. But I've never experienced them, and probably just as well, cuz I'd have to drive several 100 miles if I wanted seconds... ;)
