Nothing is sweeter on Valentines Day...

It was a beautiful wedding day...all the wedding refreshment and decorations sparkled in gold leaf glitter...

Small children were beyond themselves with excitement to be around the firetrucks and ride in the buckets!

My daughter and my younger sister spent hours getting dolled up and then hid in one of the firetrucks waiting to walk down the aisle.

My Dad guarded the firetruck door...and perhaps took a little doze in the warm sunshine while he was waiting.

The groomsmen walked carefully down the fireladder, followed by the groom. Father Jim met them at the end of their journey.

When my father was given a signal from the groom, he assisted Angie from the firetruck. She looked beautiful in her retro style dressed and her charmingly waved hair.

She joined the men to wait patiently for my Dad to escort my sister to the 'altar'.

Oops. I mean the bucket.

...where they gave their vows. It was emotional. Lots of crying.

My Mom and Dad congratulated the happy couple.

..and little girls grew giddy over the bright red delight of firetracks right in front of their own little eyes!

Tomorrow I will share some reception pictures with you.

Today I start day two of my job (My head did not actually explode on Monday, but it came very close) and then later in the day Mr. Jenny will hand deliver flowers and sugar cookies to all the girls in the family who live close by.

It's a lovely tradition.

And my heart is still all warm and cozy...from the wedding at the firestation.

Or else it's just heartburn from the buffalo cheese ball!

Hope your Valentines Day is sweet!
