These SOOC shots are of the Gladiator fire in Crown King, Arizona. Mr. Jenny and I took them late Thursday afternoon.
These last two shots, ironically, are of a truck we passed after we saw the fires.
Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.
I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!
I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!
Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!

Sad in it's beauty.
ReplyDeleteSo SAD! I have been watching this on the News! Hope they get them put out soon! Have a blessed day, HUGS!
ReplyDeletei don´t know the story, but the pictures are fantastic! :)
ReplyDeleteYour title is very apt. The beauty of your pictures mask the sadness of the fires.
ReplyDeleteWe already know that this will be a bad year for wild fire up here. It's a worry every summer.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone in that area was evacuated and there was no loss of life.
The truck photos - too, too weird!
fires are so scary...We had one about a block away from here the other day and because of wind and the high temperatures they evacuated our neighborhood out.....
ReplyDeleteIt all ended up ok though, I think the firefighters of Utah are used to battling brush fires....and I am doing better....blogging again.
Scary! We've been told that this year is especially dangerous. Fire is a real concern here...
ReplyDeleteyikes!
Oh how terrible absolutely! I couldn't imagine what you were going to post with that title....and it's such a horrible loss....I pray all humans and animals will be safe.....as for earth and her offerings...it's so sad.
ReplyDeleteYes, really impressive these columns of smoke, good photos.
ReplyDeleteAfraid this is a sign of what might be a busy year for fires. Great captures!
ReplyDeletewow! i know fire is dangerous, but
ReplyDeleteit is so fascinating. remember that
awesome movie?
great and beautiful photos!
Those are stunning pics.
ReplyDeleteIs this close to you??
Hope everyone is ok.
Melinda
That looks too close for comfort.
ReplyDeleteWOW.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 times I've been in AZ, there's always been some kind of wildfire, usually a big one. I don't know how y'all live like that. It breaks my heart. I do love my green.
ReplyDeleteOh the irony...great pictures. Here's hoping the winds die down and for some rain♫♪
ReplyDeleteHow can fire be so awful and look so awesome?

Beautiful picutures! I didn´t know the sadness about them until I read the comments.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing...

Much to think about.

Sad, but necessary...
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos Jenny! I wonder what in the heck those colorful devices are on the back of that truck?
Isn't it amazing that something so terrible can look so beautiful in your photos. I've been in Florida during their fires (which haven't been as dangerous) and seeing the "after" is just horrible.
ReplyDeleteMajorly awesome shots of a terrible event. I pray everything went well and everyone was safe.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day sweetie!!!
