For Sale By Owner

...one small...

...and very aggressive herd of Velociraptors.

I think that's what the sneaky, mean dinosaurs on Jurassic Park were called.

And I think a bunch of dinosaurs is called a herd, but I'm not totally certain.

However...

Whatever they're called, I want them out of me...NOW.

Or sooner, please.

The ongoing journey through non-stop kidney stones has degraded to other, even less amusing, things.

Grrrr.

I thought I knew a thing or two about chronic illness and pain, but apparently not...

Because...

These dinosaurs seem determined to inflect their sharp claws and teeth on nearly every square inch of my body...

(of which there are many...sigh...)

I switched to a new 'Diagnosic' Primary Care physician.   He's kind of a 'Dr. House' guy without the Vicodan habit...I hope.

He's being almost as aggressive as the Velociraptors who have decided to inhabit my kidneys, throat, hands, teeth and bones.

I am being tested, poked, prodded, scanned and seeing a lot of specialists.

For now, we've cancelled our trip to Ireland awaiting medical answers and the quick sale of the herd of Velociraptors.

In the meantime, though, I wanted to offer a little update on what's happening here...

Hopefully there will be many answers in the next few weeks.

And while I'm waiting I just wanted to thank you all.

It's humbling to be on the receiving end of grace...

Bless you for your prayers and positive thoughts.

But.

Really.

If you see my ad for the quick sale of vicious dinosaurs on Craigslist...don't buy them.

They are really, truly not very nice creatures.

Sigh.

  18. Oh no, Jenny. I feel your pain. (Or rather, I HAVE felt it…and it sucked.)

I eventually got lithotripsy to blast the stones to sand and then spent painful days passing it all. Hope you get some resolution soon.

    Ireland is waiting!

    Hugs.

    =)

It was the best part of this kind of stinky day.

I just know you're going to get some answers and beat this whatever it is. I have total faith that you are stronger than IT, no matter what IT is...

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
