ReplyDeleteI like your doing alliterations with the granddaughter, Jenny. I may try that with our youngest granddaughter (six). She wasn't too much into rhyming.
ReplyDeleteWhen I do the 'Peter Piper' thing, I say "Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Purple Peppers" as you can't have pickled peppers until you pick them and do the cooking.
I never did understand why it was the pickled ones they picked. Maybe picked out of a box?
