I am a loser.

I have failed at Wordless Wednesday yet again.

Yes...I awoke this morning clear-eyed and focused...ready to face this daunting challenge.

And now...less then three hours later I am branded once more... Sigh...

How can I be wordless when I need to tell you that when I took Mo to preschool this morning we played our usual game? She sits in the back in her car seat and I sit in the front and we take turn making animals noises. "Mooooo..." I will say and she will giggle and say "Uh oh, there is a cow in the car! Oh that is you Gwamma!" and then we giggle. And then she will say "meeeoooow!" and I will say, "oh no, there is a cat in the car!" and she will giggle and say "Is me Gwamma!"

Today she got me, though. After we had exhausted pigs, snakes, ducks, birds and chipmunks she said "poke, poke, poke!" And I said "hmmm... what is that?" So she repeated, "poke, poke, poke!" After a few more questions she finally blurted out..."Gwamma, there is a CACTUS in the car!" Now see? If I actually stuck to my wordless Wednesday plan you would have never heard that adorable story!

And how can I tell you that my husband and I attempted to do a Pioneer Woman Word Nerd contest last night and we barely even argued? It was cool. I'm thinking we won although it did take us 26 minutes to do it. I'm thinking PW will let us win when I tell her how romantic it was...doing a Word Nerd contest cuddled together behind my little desk! Awwww.... sweet!

And how can I tell you that I sent an e-mail to American Pickers with a link to my blog? I think they're gonna e-mail me back. I just know it. Probably right about the same time that PW does to let me know we won her contest! Hmmm....

And how can I tell you that Vicki has probably eliminated almost all fire risk at my house? It's true. She is a sales rep for the coolest idea I've seen in a long time - Fragrance Fans. Have you heard of these things? I am ordering several just to eliminate my husband yelling at me when we get home when I have left candles burning. Geez...I'm thinking he may need to take some anger management classes since all I'm trying to do is make my house smell good!

I hope you visit Vicki by clicking here to see these great products! to eliminate your husband yelling at you, too. Vicki is having a sweet giveaway with purchase right now.

And while you're there make sure to visit her second blog. She has a great ongoing pioneer story going on right now...just click the link at the top of her post to visit All My Yesterdays while you are there!

Geez. I'm getting tired and my fingers are cramping up. How can Wordless Wednesday be so seriously exhausting?

But one last thing. Do you all know PJ? I have to remain wordful just a bit longer so I can tell you that PJ is having a ridiculous (that is the cool word now that means GREAT!) giveaway on her blog to celebrate her upcoming Blogaversary!

PJ tells me that not only does she want you to visit her blog to help her celebrate but she's also hoping visitors find "The missing sock, that word that was on the very tip of their tongues but never materialized, their keys, their tempers, their virginity, a good parking space, a self-cleaning family, the ability to remember what they went into the room to get, truth, justice and the American way" while you are there!

I think this little quote gives you just a small idea what PJ is all about.

Go there! Enter! Read! Find your missing sock or something more personal!

She is giving away some great prizes.

Wait! What am I doing?

If I send you over there then my chance of winning becomes less.

Hmmm...

Hmmm...

OK, I'll do it anyway because I like PJ and I like you all... so yea...

Just click here and you will go to her giveaway!

Geez. Louise.

I am exhausted. NoSirreeBob, I cannot go any further with this Wordless Wednesday post so I will stop now.

But in honor of the sentiment of that MEME I would like to observe a moment of silence now.

...

...

...

OK! That was long enough!

It's official. I am done writing. There is nothing left I have to tell you.

Goodbye.

...

...

oh...

...ummm...

...don't forget tomorrow is Alphabe-Thursday and it is the letter "F"!

Bye for real now.

...

Bye....

No, you hang up first!

Sigh.

  1. LOL! Your blog is so entertaining Jenny! I just came over from PJ's blog ...love her sense of humor too!

I have my "F" post up already as it fit both Outdoor Wednesday and Alphabe Thursday. I actually want to do a Wordless Wednesday someday ... I have photogrpahs galore to use and I wouldn't have to do my two finger hunt and peck style of typing, spell checking, and editing for an hour type of post and then I might get to bed before 2AM..lol!

    Hugs, Pat

  6. Matlock, You killed it! "Killed" is a cool word now that means "You rocked it!" "Rocked" is a cool word now that means "You da bomb." "Da bomb" is a cool word that means you're the best.

What? What do mean it's 2010?! Oh...uh...then....um....none of those is a cool word any longer.

But your are still the best. Thanks!!!! xo

  9. Girl, if you are a loser (which you are soooo not!!!) then I am right there with you!!! I just can't do the Wordless Wednesday thing!!! Never could. I don't think I can do anything wordless....at least that is what my husband would say (to which I then have many words in response!!! ;-)

  10. Dang it. I was really hoping you'd write what a chipmunk sounds like. I'm having a hard time with that one.

I always have skunks in my car...yup, they're called "little stinkers." :) My kids love that one.

    Have a great day!

  23. It has been fun as usual! Liking the music I am listening to so I might just have to sit here staring at what I have already read. Love the car game. I think I will try and remember it to play with my grand daughters when I next pick them up for their monthly visit. It is about a 45-50 minute drive and the oldest 4 1/2 usually stays awake and the 3 year old falls asleep. Do you take yours to school each day? How lucky you are!

  36. we can be losers together.
I remembered it was Wordless Wednesday while I was at school today. Started pondering on what pic I could share...
even sat down here tonight to post something....and then for some reason, my brain skipped right over it and started on my alphabee entry instead.
    so...a pic-less Wordless Wednesday today!

    maybe next week?

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
