O is for Oskar

Kentucky Derby Pie Link 22? E-mail me. Your link doesn't work and I want to fix it for you!

Oskar the weiner dog's
stubby legs wobble.
As he runs through the house
looking for things to gobble.

He is not discerning.
He just doesn't care,
if it's kleenex or kids books
or mens underwear.

Green tomatoes from the garden,
Printer cartridges from the desk,
But getting to the garbage can
Is the thing that he likes best.

He's not too particular.
He's really not picky.
To Oskar the weiner dog
nothing is icky.

Oskar the fat, little weiner dog
is always ready to eat!
So if you come to visit me
you better watch your FEET! This post is brought to you by the Letter "O" and is linked to Jenny Matlock
PS. No weiner dogs were starved in the artistic creation of these photos.

  15. LOL! Just imagine what he could get into if his little legs were taller! My lab once turned on the gas to one of the burners on my stove when I left a good smelling pan there. Luckliy I noticed right away!

  39. Cute, cute poem about Oskar. Our bug likes to grab tissue out of the the trash if the grands leave the bath door open. She grabs and runs under the couch. I always need to scold through laughter because she just cracks me up.

  47. We used to have dachshunds growing up-- I swear I used to think that they would eat rocks! We had a basset hound we couldn't keep out of the waste paper baskets either -- must be a hound thing -- our terriers (my husband calls them terrorists) don't to that.

    ReplyDelete
  48. What a cute dog! I guess people don't have to take their shoes when they enter your house.

You have yourself the best day sweetie!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh he's so cute, that Oskar!
I could use him at my house ... he could just eat all the food that the kids drop on the floor, he wouldn't need to dig in the garbage can. I bet he'd take care of the toys they leave lying around, too! Send him on to Texas Jenny :) .
    Great poem, too!

  64. Thanks for the mark and your visit! I am reading Stieg Larsson's 'the girl with the dragon tattoo' can't put it down! If you haven't already read it you should give it a go except that there are 3 books altogether and I have to go buy the other 2 as I can't wait to borrow them!!!!! Very addictive.

  65. You're hysterical! Smiling from ear to ear over that one! ... Oscar is adorable, even if he eats men's underwear. xo Paulette

  66. He sounds like a real character! My little pomeranian loves to sneak under the cupboard when you pull out the garbage can to empty it, looking for fallen scraps. Once she got locked in there. I heard her yipping and could NOT figure out where it was coming from. I finally discovered her trapped under the sink with the garbage can! Served her right.

  67. O...I just knew you would do OSKAR!

He needs his 15 minutes too (o:

    ?????????????????

Don't know what the above, refers to but... We want "Dublin" to win the Derby. Not that we bet. We just love a story with a horse.

And "Dublin" is trained by an old trainer. Anthony feels he has a chance to win this Derby, with this horse. That's all we need, to rooooooooot for "Dublin." :-)

  75. Sassy, I can tell by the second picture, and too innocent looking to blame, by the looks of the first one. However, after reading your funny poem, I hear that Oskar the fat little wiener dog rules the roost at your house. Thanks for the laugh to start my day!

  76. hehe love it!! Our dog is currently addicted to dirty diapers!! gag!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Dogs are like that, yes they are!! Cute rhyme Miss Jenny!

  78. Cute poem. Aren't dogs fun? We have to keep our cat box away from our dog, because cat poo is his favorite thing ever. Although, he used to really love dirty socks. Our kids once got quite a big surprise when they saw him poop a tube sock. They were much more careful after that to use the laundry hamper!
