G is for Gardens

Gardens are not made by sitting in the shade.

Rudyard Kipling

This quotation was brought to you by Alphabe-Thursday's letter "G". To see other G links, just click here.

And, hey, speaking of gardens, one of our Alphabe-Thursday link friends at the Woodwife's Journal is having a giveaway. She's a very cool gardener and herbalist. Can you help her get over the 100 mark for followers and enter her giveway? That would be wonderul. To visit her, just click here! Thanks a bunch!

  22. I'm afraid the gardens here aren't doing too well with the drought. I keep wondering when they'll start rationing water. I think it was 100 today, so I'm sure it's coming soon. We haven't had a good rainfall since January.

  26. I'm green with envy with all the beautiful gardens I've seen this past week. I wish I could have one of my own too! Of course, it'll have to come with a gardener since I don't plan to do any of the upkeeping myself :)

  28. How's your garden growing? Mine is looking pretty sad. Between the critters eating the plants and Mother Nature dumping tons of rain on it...it looks like I will be buying my veggies.

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
