Saturday Centus - He said, she said, they said????

Jenny Matlock

Welcome to week seventy-three of Saturday Centus. I have the coolest challenge for this week. I'm totally excited about it and I hope you are, too!

I was also excited to listen to a musical rendition of Dazee's Twinkle, Twinkle songs! It made me laugh so hard. If you want to listen to it, just click here!

This week we are doing a DIALOGUE story.

All dialogue. Period.

WORD COUNT - 150 WORDS PLUS THE SIX WORDS OF THE PROMPT. Total word count not to exceed 156 words.
STYLE OF WRITING - DIALOGUE ONLY
NO PICTURES - PAINT THE STORY WITH YOUR WORDS
THE PROMPT THIS WEEK IS: "Are you seriously ordering another martini?"

The regular restrictions apply: PG, no splitting of the prompt, play nicely and visit the other entries, any style or genre of writing you prefer.

Please display my link button or just a hyper-link back to Saturday Centus. Be careful to link your SC URL to the Linky and not just link to your main blog.

E-mail me directly with ???'s or ask your question in a comment and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Feel free to link up anytime between now and next Saturday!

  3. Jenny Jenny Jenny...you make me laugh. You may not remember but I wrote to you once before. I'm a photographer and I use your Saturday Centus as my inspiration for what to shoot on Saturdays...ok, not totally what you intended it for, but it works, so thanks. Because it's not totally in keeping with what you do, I haven't posted the links back to what I do on your blog...but even though it didn't strictly follow the "rules", I couldn't resist linking today. Hope you don't mind....and thanks for the many weeks of inspiration. I look forward to it each week.

  8. Oops I mispelled Bloody....don't suppose you can correct that. I had an awful time with Mr Linky. It took me about four times before it would work. Hummm.~Ames

  9. This was so fun after I got over the shock and of course, I broke some of the rules. ( see you in court, LOL ) You really made me wrack my brain for something uplifting connected with guzzling large amounts of alcohol...you clever Jenny you !!!

    Hugs,
    Nonna

  10. In the infamous words of Pooh "Oh bother!" I do not like writing dialogue. I do not write it in the dark, I do not write it in the park. Oh wait, wrong children's book. Kat

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
