What's the big deal...

...about a medical degree?

Really.

Just yesterday I got mine.

In one day.

Just a single day.

I about five hours accomplishing part of my Christmas to-do list.

Stamping, cutting, double-stick taping...

...and at the end of the afternoon...

I was officially a CARD-iologist!

Go me!

And please don't ask me for free medical advice.

I'm pretty new at this whole medical thing.

So, please ...

Just take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

Unless you want to come over right now and help me address all these Christmas cards!

...

...

Sigh...

  3. Well, you're way ahead of me there because I haven't even bought cards yet.

I did manage to do a little Christmas shopping yesterday but mostly just wandered around the stores wondering what to buy everyone until it was time to pick up kids at at school!

  12. Wow, I doubt I'll get any done this year. Good for you! It feels so good to send them out, and to get them too.

  15. Dr. Jenny, I'm suffering from depression...the kind that comes from seeing all the overachieving holiday decorators, card makers/writers, bakers, shoppers, etc. What's a girl to do? Think I'll go eat some chocolate and blog...

  16. Verrryyy funny! Laborious job, but I bet you put your heart into it. It took me almost that long to decide on the two boxes of cards I bought today!

I'm in the midst of the same thing. I've written the poem, but I haven't addressed it to everyone yet. I'm always really excited to get them in the mail, and by tomorrow, I will!

  19. Well, I am a brain surgeon! I have been digging around in my brain ALL DAY, trying to rearrange my studio to accomodate two cribs for the twins when they come for Christmas. I finally got everything reorganized, so I stitched up my brain and had a glass of wine! Of course, my back is screaming at me, because I had to move a TON of stuff around!!!

  20. OKay, that is my kind of joke. And that is why I like coming here. You make me feel normal. Heh...

  21. You silly girl! I haven't gotten to cards...but my wrapping is done (at least all that is purchased is wrapped) and the house is decorated! I may get to cards over the weekend. Of course my lack of crafting skills means I just buy mine!

  22. I need to tap into your humor. I'm sorely lacking right now.

  23. I'd prefer your medical care over another cardiologist...Dr. Murray. Looks like you're getting a lot done...if only I was more organized like you. I have trouble getting past the planning stage and actually producing something.

  24. SO true!! I have a stack of my own!

  25. Card-iologist???? You are way ahead of me...in your medical training and YOUR Christmas carding.

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
