...for the theft of geese from a park?
Our Grandlittles are on Spring Break this week and they are busy, busy, busy.
On Monday, Mr. Jenny and I took them to a park by our house where they roller-skated and ran around a track and climbed on fitness equipment.
But the big distraction of the day was the geese. Or maybe these are just really giant ducks?
Well...
Whatever they are, the girls followed their new feathered friends around for almost 45 minutes. I'm thinking I'm going to take some of the empty cardboard boxes from our move and bring them home with me so I can get some rest on Wednesday!
I think it's a pretty great idea...
And I'm sure Oskar, the weiner dog, would like some new, feathered friends, too!

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.
I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!
I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!
Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!

What a beautiful day! It looks like they had a blast.
ReplyDeleteOh Jenny geese are very frightening creatures!!! They will keep Oskar in his corner absolutely!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBest watch dogs you could ever have.
As good of an idea as it sounds I'm afraid all the poop would scare me away. I'll never forget being so excited about ducks being at our campground till the next morning when I discovered the hundreds of poo piles all around - eek.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures:) no jail time if you all just let them follow you home:). Enjoy your day dear Jenny. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful park, Jenny, and it looks like your grand daughters enjoyed spending time in it.
ReplyDeleteOh I am sure there is jail time. Someone stole the black swan's from Lake Eola and there was definitely jail time. You are a good grammy taking those girls to the park. Maybe you had a teensy weenie idea to wear them down so you could get peace when you went home?? Well it works for our girls, Baby and Tinker. They sleep the remaining of the day. Ah adventures in dogland.~Ames
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've found something that will woo your grandkids into loving your new digs!
ReplyDelete=)
Hope you had a comfortable place to sit while the girls were burning off some energy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Julia isn't having any problems with her arm! I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
What a perfect way to burn off some energy ... watch those geese ... they can be mean & scary if they want to be .... i do hope you can get some rest ... i dont know how you manage to do everything that you do ...
ReplyDeleteThey are ducks. :-) It looks like they all had fun.
ReplyDeleteGood idea Jenny. They are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI would be surprised if you had geese because we don't have them here. I think it might be too warm? Those Canadian Geese are all over the place around the NYC area where I grew up. The funny thing is that they weren't there when I was a kid. Maybe it got too crowded in Canada? I would say those are ducks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool park. My grandkids would love it.
ReplyDeleteWe once stayed in the dirtiest, dustiest, darkest campground, and the girls always want to go back. Why? You guessed it.. ducks.
ReplyDeleteDana
It sure would be nice to have the energy that kids have!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the grand littles are settling in to the idea of your new home too. I'd say leave the geese at the park...you won't like the mess they make. ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely ducks. You can chase ducks, but geese will chase you! And bite you, too.
ReplyDeleteWe are having spring break here, too.
they are big ducks...geese would be attacking them.....what a great day.
