Salvation

Golden grace of morning.

Evening cannot do as well.

We kept praying for sunrise.

Still.

Evening fell.

And I wonder will youth still be laughing

on the day we come ashore,

from the ocean we’ve been sailing?

This boat cannot

float anymore.

Eagle soars to heaven.

Dove cannot fly quite so close.

Though the dove has all the beauty,

It is only near at most.

And I wonder will men

still be fighting

on the day we come to ground

from the skies we’ve been gliding?

Where will all my peace be found?

Where will all your peace be found?

  3. This is beautiful. It reminds me so much now about what choices the government makes to get involved in conflicts, ugh!

  4. Oh by gosh sometimes, especially lately that question beckons all around me. It's so odd that at times when at those moments I'm really in search of peace, it has a way of slipping in!

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
