I'm being stalked...

...by turkeys...

Big wooden ones by the front door...

A whole bunch of them when you walk inside...

And the cutest baby one...

Our house will soon be filled with overnight guests and dogs ...

...and there are not quite enough forks for tomorrows feast...

...and I'm not sure of the logistics of turkey, pie and homemade rolls...

... and the fridge looks like a restaurant...

I love it.

I am so blessed.

And so thankful.

And I hope if you celebrate Thanksgiving yours is wonderful, too!

  5. Rod fobade me to invite anyone for Thanksgiving, and he also informed me that there would be NO COOKING in this house tomorrow. He knows that preparing a meal on a holiday wears me down so much that I spend the next few days in bed. Soooooo, we are spending Thanksgiving with some of our sweet and friendly neighbors. I am very thankful for that.

    Don't wear yourself out, Jenny!!!

    xoxo,

    J.

  14. My dream for a Norman Rockwell life, I think I get it from you. You have such a knack to paint everything so alive and vibrant and full of life, and that is the kind of life I want to live. A life that will be remembered and thought back on with strength and encouragement when it is needed. One day I hope o have my life in a place where I can say "Things aren't perfect, but we are going to celebrate anyway. You are amazing, Jenny, my friend. Simply amazing. And funny.
