It was one of those 'weepy' weeks.
You know the kind?
Where the second a Hallmark commercial comes on you close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and sing "la, la, la".
Two of our Grandlittles were up over the weekend.
When it was time for them to go home I got teary.
Sniff.
Sniff.
The middle one shouted, 'Grandma! Grandma! Look at this!"
And I turned to see her smiling face...
(oops. Sorry it's sideways! You'll have to turn your head!)
...upside down.
It dried my tears.
Made me laugh.
And definitely warmed my heart.

Visits from grandchildren are not always happy happy all the time. But overall they are very warming.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture. Is she standing on her head or is she standing on a bucket so she can reach the ceiling? Or levitating?

It's so cool how children love to share their discoveries and new skills. :-)

When I leave Australia after a long holiday, I always get emotional when saying goodbye to my daughter and her children.
