Warm Heart Wednesday - Week 16

Week 16

It occurred to me the other day that sometimes I am stuck in the bad...not seeing or recognizing the good as often as I should.

I allow myself to be filled with weight and worry and woes.

Not always.

But sometimes too often.

I forget to remember the wonderful small, positive things that happen each week...a card in the mail, someone holding a store door or asking where I get my hair cut, a funny little story, or a ray of sunshine warming my face.

Warm Heart Wednesday is for me.   To start remembering.  And to make a journal of joy.

I hope you will consider joining me on this adventure by sharing something that made YOUR heart warm over the past week.  I think it will be fun and uplifting to read your ongoing journals as well.

Warm Heart Wednesday #16.

  2. BTW, do you remember E G Camera Girl (aka Tina Forrester) who blogged the Alpha posts, from Canada? She and her husband were killed in a car wreck February 22. Her obituary is here: Obituary of Ms. E G Camera Girl -- http://www.skwarchukfuneralhome.com/obituary/OD_16020019.htm

  3. My first comment didn't post. Just plain lost. It said something like this:
Wow, Jenny! That is good hope, but tough hope as well. I thank God for modern medicine, without it I wouldn't be around. I know that you are grateful as well. I pray for you and your family, Mr. Jenny and your daughter that I have come to know, sort of, via your blogging.
Speaking of that, I looked back, it was February, 2012, when we first exchanged reads/comments on "Saturday Census" and then March, 2012, for the "Alph" series. Seemed longer than that.

  5. Hi Jenny,
I hope things are going well for you this week.

I just read Jim's comment and I certainly do remember E G Camera Girl from Alphabe Thursday. So sad. None of us know from one heart beat to the next what is going to happen. Betty

  6. Hi Jenny, good to see you here. I was getting worried but my days were mixed up as we were under the weather so long with these nasty head colds. Good to see you my friend. Hugs and much love, Anne

  8. A pause in the day to remember the good points is a good habit. I've been trying to do that as well. Even when the weight of the day is heavy, at least there are some lighter moments of respite. Wishing you well. And thanks for this meme.

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
