Warmed Heart Week 15

My.

Bad.

I've been living the life of a country song even more than usual lately...

and darned if I didn't do the thing I wasn't supposed to do.

I forgot to look for the good stuff.

And actually.

In hindsight.

There's been a lot.

For this week it's actually gratitude toward one of my 'team o' doctors'.

Toward the end of my very long exam this specialist (who I see way too often) brought tears to Mr. Jenny's and my eyes.

"As long as you want to keep fighting, I'm going to fight with you," he told us solemnly.

Wow.

Wow.

That was beyond a good moment.

That was a blinding flash of light in a tunnel of darkness.

And that's my Warm Heart Moment for this week.

Wow, Jenny. That is hope, but very tough hope. You know I pray for you and then for the family, husband and daughter who I've met here via "... off my tangent..."
Our first read/comment exchange was February, 2012, via "Saturday Census" and then "Alpha" in March, 2012. Seems longer than that, but that's what my comments show.
Like the Hawaiian surfers say, "Hang Tight" and I add "Thank God for modern medicine" because without it we'd both be gone.

It makes so much difference to have a good doctor by your side, one who is really a partner in your care. He must think as much of you as we all do!
