Or maybe two.
Because I am over-whelmed with boxes.
Boxes full of Girl Scout cookies that need to be sorted and packed to ship to friends who bought them from our sweet Granddaughter... The girl sold 178 boxes of cookies and she was STILL in third place in her Brownie troup.
Boxes filled with cookbooks that need to be sent out...
...and what I really want to do is sit for the rest of the morning and E njoy all the E ngaging and E ntracing and E ntertaining E posts!
So maybe what I really need today is E nergy AND a few E xtra hours in the day!
Oh, how I love Tagalongs. I don't know any Girl Scouts anymore. That's okay because I couldn't control myself if I did LOL.
ReplyDeleteNo girl scouts ever come around our neighborhood anymore. It's been a long time since I've had thin mint cookies! Wishing you energy for your task ahead.
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! Boy, I would love to buy a box of girl scout cookies right now, I have hardly eaten!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Anna
P.S.
Now I have finally learned how to link the post!
E is for Endless!! ;) I am with you! The cookies will invade my house today I think! I home school. I have a puppy. I blog. I need to clean! I need to organize my chaos! E is for Every day is a new day! ;)
ReplyDeleteJust found you... happy to be a new follower! Enjoy your day! (ps I love words)

Amen, I do second that. I arrived in Georgia yesterday even...did get upgraded to first class on my flight so, after two bloody marys and a nice breakfast, I slept all the way to Atlanta, then did a two hour shuttle to Columbus.
ReplyDeleteSeeing my mother's deterioration in three months was overwhelming. She didn't know me and I'm not sure she does yet. Her speech is unintelligible, sentences are jumbled and she makes no senses to me. Once in awhile something clear comes out. She isn't eating or drinking. Meals on wheels meals go untouched. We see the doctor tomorrow. I think she's had a stroke though she seems to have no mobility loss only speech difficulties.
I hope I can get her into assisted living before I leave Mar 10th.
Cute post! I want some Girl Scout cookies...
ReplyDeleteYummy looking cookies! wonderful post Jenny, I hope you get that Energy you want!!!
ReplyDeleteI bought from 2 girl scouts this year. I'm still waiting on my half a case of thin mints!
ReplyDeleteOh, and if you find any energy could you send some my way. I am whipped but good! Even after sleeping 15 hours!
Good luck with the energy.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how you are packing the cookies? What about that little girl scout and her parents? I'd hand that job off!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually taking a day to catch up. I'm reading blogs and more blogs, I've written a couple blog posts (how dare there be 2 parties on 1 day tomorrow) and I may even read a real book before this day is over!
Sue
Posted "E is for Eleuthera" but, of course, again I did the Mclinky wrong so no one will be able to read it. Please send me the way I should do it - the whole format...I've tried every which way and I just don't get it. No sense in my wasting time on this Alpha-Be series, though it's wonderful, if I have to keep hassling you to post it for me.
ReplyDeleteThis should be an 'O' post for overwhelming! Oy! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMake it easy on yourself and mail them ALL to me:) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLuckily I raised boys, Jenny, so I didn't have to go through this... But--I have plenty of friends who did!!!! Save me some of those mint cookies!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Exactly!!! Does this count for participating in Alphabe-Thursday? lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog & leaving me a comment.
Now if these were at my house, my E would have to have been for Eat! Yikes, you have alot more will power than I do. There is not way a carton of tag a longs would make it to the post office. Kathy
ReplyDeleteJenny, what are those cookbooks you are sending out?
ReplyDeleteThe person I always order from doesn't do it anymore, her daughter is out of Girl Scouts.

I love the Girl Scout mint cookies, but only one brownie/girl scout came to our house and my husband answered the door and got to pick. I don't even know if we'll be getting any mint cookies this year. Good luck with all the packing.

ReplyDeleteWell Jenny Matlock, I certainly enjoyed my tour around your blog! Thanks very much for your visit. I have a feeling I'll be around here on a regular basis!

Red Wagon Flights
Yummy...I'd take them all! Looks like EU had a good E day too!
ReplyDeleteThat is the sole reason I'm glad neither of my girls are scouts anymore. Oy, separating all those cookies, then getting them to the right houses. Oh, blech!
ReplyDeleteJustine :o )
Geez Gramma, If you really wanted her to win, you'd have set her up to sell on your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou need a personal assistant. Maybe an intern. They work for free........
Good E post - Exhausting!
OH NO! Say it's not Girl Scout Cookie time again! Eeeeeeeeeek! ,-)
ReplyDeleteNo one came around to ask us to buy girlscout cookies this year... not even at my husbands work. OUr friends kids must all be growing up and out of the program. I guess next year we will have to go find them when they set up their table at the local store.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love me some girl scout cookies, but I'll take the energy those sweet little scouts have any day! Oh, who am I kidding? Give me the cookies.
ReplyDeleteHi! I am new to your blog, and I certainly enjoyed my first visit! Very funny! I am now one of you followers! If you get a chance, pop over to my blog sometime. I would love to have you! ~Dan~

Oh, I could use a big cup of ENERGY myself; and a few cookies!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Catherine :)
Hello again Jenny,
ReplyDeleteI've made an extra post for you. If you would like to order earrings that suit your eight year olds, I can make something that is with a screwback finding or a clip.
I do not approve of piercing the ears of children. I do not have pierced ears myself!!
But there is a market for earrings with ear wires and posts so I do both kinds.
Please visit me again (when you get the time) at:
