I got my "S" under control!

I did.

For sure.

It took a bit of effort yesterday but finally my "Syndrome" quit being crabby and the day got good.

For the whole entire day, except for the brief moments when I was wrangling with the soaker hoses in the garden trying to get them in place to water my sweet little baby plants, my "S" behaved quite sweetly.

...but I will admit it flared up a bit this morning when I asked Mr. Jenny to give me another alphabet idea to tie into the second Alphabe-Thursday giveaway.

I thought that would be cute for this post.

You know?

Have another little alphabet segue and then do the giveaway.

So let me tell you about the conversation that happened here this morning at 6:34 am.

I say, very sweetly, "Baby, honey, sweetie-pie, sugar-lamb, honey-bunny? (ummm....gag now, please) Can you think of something cute using the letters of the alphabet to lead into my Alphabe-Thursday giveaway?"

And he said, "no."

Whhhhatttttt????

Talk about no help here whatsoever.

So with no further ado I give you the winner for the second Alphabe-Thursday prize.

...

...

ha.

You fell for it.

Did you really think I would just do this simply? Pulllleeeze.

Here at Jenny Matlock...off on my tangent...I am all about unnecessary wordy confusion at all times.

Except for "Wordless Wednesdays" when I get even worse.

...

Hmmm.... but now that I wrote that I'm not really sure if it is a good thing or not.

However.

Moving on with the giveway.

Because I want you to know that I conducted this giveaway with the highest professionalism using only the finest hi-tech equipment to ensure the results are spot-on... I am sharing my amazing computing system with you now. Who stole my calculator anyway?

But before I announce the winner from the 247 Alphabe-Thursday links I have a quick guest blogger. Hello class! This is Mrs. Matlock guest blogging here. I'm busy today. And I don't want to waste much time. I just want to remind everyone to please be sure to visit as many of the links you can. Even the later ones. Every student works hard on their paper and they deserve your respect.

For those of you who do not follow this rule...there will be detention.

That's all.

Goodbye class.

Hi. It's me again. Jenny. Wow. She is a tough cookie isn't she?

Huh?

Why yes I have been checked for schizophrenia...why do you ask?

Quit distracting me.

I am trying to do a drawing here.

OK.

So, 247 entries for a prize of a $25.00 gift certificate to your choice of Michaels, Joanne Fabrics, Tasteful Garden or Amazon.

My dear friend, Mr. Random Integer Generator tells me:

Here are your random numbers:

Which corresponds with the 13th link of the G post...

Which is...

G is for a Ginger Tea Party @ Hyacinths

Congratulations Sarah. This was a great "G" post!

Please e-mail me at: jennymatlock at cox.net to claim your prize.

And now.

I am exhausted.

And I still have to go to the grocery store.

And I feel that perhaps my "S" is coming back just a tiny bit.

So I'm saying goodbye for now.

...

...

Goodbye.

...

...

You hang up first.

Sigh.

  1. Glad you got your S back Jenny!
I have to admit that I missed out on "I" this week. I needed to take a little "I" time for myself so that I didn't Implode due to the Immediacy of my Intensive work!

  11. Congrats to the winner. I've been away for a couple of days and did not get to read almost all of the Alphabee post that I usually read. Maybe I will get a chance to go back to them. But I did catch up on your blog Jenny and as always you have given me a giggle and a little bit of a tear. I read you very sweet post about your sister while catching up. You are quite a writer you know.

  12. Congratulations to the winner! Jenny, I have to admit, your method is too high tech for me to follow...but then again, it's me that I am talking about...so there isnt too much that isnt too high tech!

I definitely am making my way slowly through the wonderful "I" assignment list...(Can I play "hooky" from work, so that I can catch up with them all?)

    Blessings & Aloha!

  19. I would be lost with my "S". My name and blog would be amiss.
Not to mention "ARA Weet Urprise" just doesn't have the same ring to my blog tittle.
I had a laugh about your hubs lack of suggestions. His understated enthusiasm is exactly the underwhelmed response my hubby gives me too, lol.

Sweet Jenny ...I want to thank you for your visit..it meant a lot to me.
Your words brought me such comfort at an extremely difficult time. Your support touched my heart deeply. I so greatly appreciated your concern.
    Sweet wishes,
    Sara

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
