I was going to be all kinds of crafty on Thursday afternoon...

One of my friends shared pictures of the sweetest spring wreath ever earlier in the week with me. I was going to spend Thursday finishing up my St. Patrick's day cards AND make one of these adorable decorations for my front door.

But...

Instead I copped out, slugged-out, lazied out and went and bought the last cards I needed AND spent the afternoon on the couch with Millionare Matchmaker. Talk about inane TV.

And...

I didn't actually make a wreath either...

And now it's like 7:30 on Thursday night and I'm too tired to think up anything else to blog about...

And I figure it's actually kind of a favor to you...

Because now, since I so thoughtfully spent Thursday being slug-like, you can follow a real tutorial instead of the strange ones I generally write.

You're welcome.

Just click here to be whisked to instructions on how to make your own adorable wreath.

You may have to become un-slug-like to actually accomplish it...

...but I know you can do it!

As for my wreath? I figure I have a while before it's technically spring so I'm technically not really procrastinating...

I'm just being slug-like...which is totally not the same thing.

Sigh...

PS. Did you remember to enter the CSN giveaway? You can't buy one of these wreaths if you win, but you can still get something cool with $65 bucks! Click here if you missed entering or want to enter again.

  1. Top of the mornin' to ya sweetie!!!

Slug...that pretty well describes how I feel this mornin'. My plan was to go into town and 'stock~up'. I go into Tiny~Town every other week to get supplies but it's been almost three now thanks to this stinkin' ful. I'm still runnin' a bit of a temp, ' Might as well be eatin' rocks and still a bit dizzy. Probably shouldn't drive or even try the 'buy out' today. Hope we don't starve! Heeehehehe!!!

Love that pretty little wreath girl!

Have a beautiful day in the Lord my friend!

  8. I find myself looking at all these beautiful things but not really doing them. Doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed seeing how some one made it. Have a great day.

  10. funny you mention making wreaths. I made (if I may say) the most beautiful wreath for Thanksgiving like hmmm 5 or 7 years ago...liked it soooooo much, it blended soooo well it's been hanging on a door off the kitchen ever since, until the other day....my daughter made a really cool hanging thingy that has finally replaced it! Isn't making art just the best?.....I know when you do it, but the thought of doing it is so wonderful too!

  17. The wreath is adorable!

I'm feeling rather slug-like, myself. Once spring finally arrives, I think I'll be fine.

How is your mouth/jaw? I hope you're feeling better!

  19. What a sweet wreath! I need to make one of those. But at this point, since a move is impending, I think "what's the point?" Sigh. Maybe I am feeling a bit sluggish as well.

  20. That wreath is adorable. I actually thought it was made with real live grass. DUH! I never thought it was yarn. I want to make one too! I've got that page bookmarked, but I probably won't get to it for a while.

Yhe nurse just came in and said, "I've got a stack of cards for him." He's sound asleep, but they'll be waiting for him when he wakes up. THANK YOU SO MUCH JENNY! (You keep making me cry.)

Hope the infected bone is getting better and that's not why you're having a slug-like day.

  24. I might just possibly be able to give up blogging if I could watch Bravo all day long (and not be interrupted) they are the masters if inane TV and unfortunately I am addicted.

Super cute wreath...I wont even pretend I am going to make it, but I am goignt o check it out because it is so darn cute!

  26. I made the wreath yesterday (Sunday) evening. I used white daisies and yellow quilt pins instead of the pink. I am NOT a crafter, but mine turned out well and it is hanging on the front door. The only problem was the yarn kept tangling coming out of the skein.

I'm making another for my Mom.
