I am in the process of...

...preparing for the most epic garage sale in the history of garage sales. In the world. Or at least in this hemisphere.

But before I whine too much about it I need to tell you that Alphabe-Thursday is on holiday break this week! There will be a linky on Wednesday for 'Holiday' or 'Family' Memories BUT we will resume the letter 'D' next week!

Okay, now that I got that out of the way I shall resume whining. Ahem.

There is not an uncluttered inch of space on my garage floor but friends and family keep dropping off more stuff.

Yeah.

I'm dumb.

I should have said drop stuff AFTER Thanksgiving, but I didn't...

So instead of writing a real post today I'm gonna just leave you with this...

HELP ME!!!!!

In addition to the heartfelt plea uttered above...and just to make you feel it was totally worth your while to stop by...

...

What did the mama turkey say to her naughty son?

If your papa could see you now, he'd turn over in his gravy!

...

If the Pilgrims were alive today, what would they be most famous for?

Their AGE

...

Why did the police arrest the turkey?

They suspected it of fowl play

...

Why can't you take a turkey to church?

Because they use such fowl language

...

See? Now aren't you glad you dropped by?!?

Sigh...

Okay - I officially feel sorry for you with all that stuff amassing in your garage. My official sorrow period will end when I hear cha-ching, cha-ching in your pocket at the end of said garage sale.

I'm considering making napkin rings out of your knock knock jokes....and I'm not kidding. I'll let you know.

Jenny, they are so bad!!!!! You are right though I am really pleased I stopped by as I am still giggling!!!!!
Good luck with the garage sale.

Oh Jenny!! Fun Funny Thanksgiving jokes!! I think I'll share these in the classroom today! I hope this comment will post - half the time I can! Wow I pitty you for all the work connected to this garage sale!! Yikes!! More power to you! Blessings Sue

I am loving the jokes you are posting this week.

You really should update your blog this week to let us know you weren't swallowed by the garage.

Really? Garage sale?

Far better to donate everything, get a receipt, and take a tax deduction...that's what I'd do, if I had an actual garage.

You really are too funny, Jenny :) Or maybe I'm just finding these jokes way too funny!

It's a good thing you're moving 'D' to next week because between the final for my class and my sad attempt to make a Thanksgiving "dinner" I was not prepared to share a post :)

And good luck with your epic garage sale! That is indeed a lot of stuff you have in your garage... Good luck getting rid of them all :)

Whew! Organizing for a garage sale is a big feat, especially with lots of items coming from multiple places. Here's to a successful garage sale!!!

Blessings & Aloha!

Your riddle and jokes are fun! But whether you have them or not, your blog is always worth stopping by for a visit with :o)
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

All that stuff would stress me out...stuffing a garage instead of a turkey this week was not the smartest move I agree....But I know you will get through it all!!!

I am always thankful to stop by and get myself a smile on:) You are so REAL! Have a blessed day my dear Jenny, HUGS!

LOL ! Looks like an episode of the TV show 'Storage Wars' or whatevever it's called. I stopped doing garage sales years ago, even just for us. I box everything up and take it to Goodwill or Salvation Army...no muss, no fuss and a tax deduction to boot !!!

Happy Thanksgiving Jenny!

I had the same thought as Nonna Beach - looks like Storage Wars. Good luck on the garage sale....I assume this is another verison of Black Friday?

Lol, loved all of them knock knocks. Where are you getting them?

Debbie said...

Good luck with the sale! I am still recovering from a large one myself. I would love to say "never again" but I'll be helping with it next year, I'm certain. But a private/home sale I will never have again.

Good luck with the sale - you'll be cruising around Hawaii on the proceeds!

Wishing you the best of luck with your garage sale, you brave, brave woman. Also wish I could send you my garage, to sell! There's about 100,000 record albums and various household items from the past 35 years!

Susan Anderson said...

Actually, yes...my grandkids are going to LOVE those jokes!

And I'm relieved that we don't have Alphabe-Thursday this week.

And I hope you have a wonderful garage sale, and a heartwarming Thanksgiving!!

=)

O M G!!!!! Is that really the inside of your garage? Where do you park your cars? Rod is so anal that not a thing is out of place in our garage. I'm surprised he hasn't suggested carpeting it, painting the walls ecrue, and hanging pictures. When he has the cars out while he is sweeping, people walking by actually stop and stare at the neatness. Then they snicker a little.

Thanks for the giggle, good luck with your sale, and Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Puleeze pull the duane of drowning in your knock knock jokes. Ha ha plfftt! (I'm blowing a raspberry here)

Listen Jenny, if I was in town, I'd be over there helping you out with that mega garage sale. Sadly I won't be anywhere near Arizona. Boo hoo! :( But I'll be thinking of ya! :)

Happy Turkey day!~Love ya!~Ames

You are a very brave woman. I've put off clearing out my house for about 40 years and the stuff keeps piling up!

Thanks for the groaners...I think!

Betty said...

This will make you feel better...my garage always looks like that which is why there's always cars in the driveway.

I just finished writing my Alphabe-Thursday post. I think I'll go ahead with it since it's sort of a memory too. That will give me another week to come up with a "D" post. I was kind of stretching it a little to make this week's a "D" one. Let's see, "D" as in duck, donut, Devil's food cake...

Ken enjoyed the jokes as I did! Pretty funny. All that stuff in your garage---not so funny. Good Luck!

Living here, the idea of a garage sale between Thanksgiving and Christmas is just impossible to imagine. Here...we think about May and September! We still have all the stuff that didn't sell sitting in the garage and basement-ugh. I need to get it taken to Goodwill so that I get the tax break!

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving...stress free.
