Saturday Centus - Good things come in fives

Jenny Matlock

Welcome to week ninety-seven of Saturday Centus.

Hi. It's me. Jenny. Yes, I'm behind. Waaaayyyy behind. I have about 712 more boxes to remove from the pod in my driveway and then I will be able to catch up on SC's.

Mr. Jenny took me out for dinner tonight and I had a margarita. A whole one. All by myself.

So I'm feeling a little wicked.

So I'm going to give you a wicked hard challenge this week.

There is no prompt BUT there is a theme.

The theme is 'Good things come in fives'!

Your writing challenge is to write a story in fives. Five sentences consisted of five words EACH.

25 words. Five sentences. Five words in each sentence. 5 x 5 = 25

The regular restrictions apply: PG, no splitting of the prompt, play nicely and visit the other entries, any style or genre of writing you prefer.

Please display my link button or just a hyper-link back to Saturday Centus. Be careful to link your SC URL to the Linky and not just link to your main blog.

E-mail me directly with ???'s or ask your question in a comment and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Feel free to link up anytime between now and next Saturday!

  1. My sisters and I agree with your prompt! ;) If I have a break at work I will see if I can come up with something but no promises. Have a great weekend.

  7. I was kind of thinking we'd have a really hard lesson today, but fewer words, knowing that you have like a million or more boxes yet to figure out about where to put them! My brain really had to think though, it's been a busy week here (the entire month) and so is the weekend....good luck Jenny hope you get some good Jenny time too! ;)

This was so easy, just almost wrote itself. I used "this little Piggie" as my template...very fun exercise !

  12. I tried, I really tried. I don't know if I'm blind or just can't see. I love these prompts but Mr Linky defeats me with ease. I did a post but left the prompt...then I realized, I had messed it up again.

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
