This week I thought I'd go a totally different direction.
I hope it's a direction that challenges you.
The first sentence of your SC this week is:
"OUR FINGERS ENTWINED LIKE RIBBONS OF LIGHT"
From that compelling beginning, please write 100 words.
So..
The first seven words of your story will be the prompt...
...and then write in your usual creative and amazing style.
It will be interesting to see what we each come up with starting with the exact same sentence.
Perhaps the Easter egg dye has gotten to my brain, but I think this might be fun!

Our fingers entwined like ribbons of light as I reached heavenward to take hold of the Lord's hand. He is my Comforter, my Provider, my Healer, and my Friend and Father. He is the God in whom I do trust, and His promises are greater than anything that my mind can even conceive for which I give thanks, even in the shadow of grief. Especially in the shadow of grief because the light of the empty cross looms larger and brighter than anything. For that, and for friendships with friends like you, Jenny, I give thanks now and always.
