Painted Alphabet for the Letter X

So.

Yeah.

X just didn't inspire me to paint anything.

Instead I'm sharing two x-tra large signs I've painted of late for orders.   I'm working on an even larger one now - 40" x 60" and I think it's going to be awesome.

I had also planned to share some x-tra small signs I've been fooling with, but they aren't done yet.

X

This sign is 37" x 37".  Blue and green in the background with a black-ish expresso color underneath the antique white letters.   It's heavy!

26" x 46".  The background is painted with lyrics but it's a bit hard to see here.

No stencils. No stickers. No vinyl.  Handpainted with my own layout.

You can see other signs in this series by clicking on 'Painted
Alphabet' in my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by!

  10. It can be difficult to be inspired by certain letters in the alphabet, I must admit. But, you did alright here - an X-large sign now that's creative! Thanks for being so faithful to read my Alphabe-Thursday posts. I don't understand how you can go through so many blog entries religiously week after week like you do. No doubt, this takes an x-ordinarily special lady such as you to do! =D

  18. I especially like the first sign--I'll have to remember to smile at people as I go through my day today. That seems like a good way of letting it begin with me. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi! Thanks for leaving a comment! My handy dandy e-mail assistant always notifies me when you do and I read every single one.

I try to respond to comments with a return e-mail BUT I just noticed that I've been answering a lot of them to blogs that haven't linked their e-mail address to their Google account! I haven't been ignoring your comments, but now I know you aren't getting my reply e-mails! I'm sorry!

I know a lot of other bloggers who respond to comments via e-mail so if you haven't left off your e-mail on purpose, you might want to add it on! If you don't know how you can let me know in your comment and I'll see if I can help you!

Thanks so much for reading my 'Tangents'! Your comments always feel like a hug!
