I is for Imagination

“There is a space between man's imagination and man's attainment that may only be traversed by his longing.”

I haven't read "The Prophet" since high school. Might be time to revisit that!

I think if we try our best, we can get the results we want. though just dreaming is sometimes enough.

Wow-I love that picture!! It reminds me of what it was like when I was a little girl at the fair! :)

& Thank you so much for stopping by my blog-it was such a surprise to see comments (especially after my extended hiatus!)

That's a wonderful quote, Jenny, and I love the photo!

I'm finally home after five days in the hospital. I do NOT like being a patient. Also, my little Acer notebook fell off the bedside table and was inoperable from day one!

One thing I have for sure is an imagination. I'm often off in my own little imaginary world. Enjoyed the picture and the quote.

a great quote, which I'm actually able to comment on FINALLY! I swear I read or skim all the alpha blogs as I sit here all day but depending on day I am only able to comment sparodically. this quote reminds me of one I have on my wall from Albert Einstein. "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."

Have always admired Gibran's words - a great quote...
Sadly, I wonder if today's young generation has lost the ability to imagine - so many seem content to be spoon fed information or just veg out in front of some sort of electronic system.
