Love that you say it like it is! We should celebrate our mothers everyday of the year. I can't think of a more selfless and difficult job. I'm certainly not the most attentive daughter, but I do try to do thoughtful things all through the year. One thing I do every year sometime in January (at least since I'm now a mature individual) I phone my mom to tell her how much I appreciate how difficult it must have been to have a new baby during the cold rainy months of winter during the time of no dryers in one's home. I can just imagine washing and hanging out all those diapers to dry. :-)
