Beautiful Blue Window

We have several stained glass windows in our house. My favorites are these...

There are two of them flanking the stone fireplace in our family room. In the afternoon the light glows through the cobalt glass and makes my heart smile.

And listen. I made this super short so you can take the time to visit an excellent "A" link that only got three comments! It's a longer post so to save time, just run over there and don't even bother to leave a comment here! I'm cool with that! Click here to read it if you can spare a moment! - it's long but a wonderful read.

This post is linked to Alphabe-Thursday's Letter "B". To read other links JUST CLICK HERE!

That's a gorgeous window! My husband used to work in a glass shop that repaired leaded and stained glass windows. I've been after him to brush up on his skills and make a few for me. We had a few in our old house and they made my heart smile, too!

I'd love to have a window like that and watch the light come through it in different patterns and colors. Really lovely, Jenny.

Jenny, thank you so much for the link to CC's post. We used to run in the same circles and I lost her. So nice to find her once again.

She shines, doesn't she?

I dream of one day having stain glass windows. Yours are absolutely delicious, and seeing the afternoon light pouring in would make my heart go pitter patter.

What a beautiful and heart wrenching story that was! Thank you for directing me over there. I loved it.
