We are making some small progress.   Testing has located another parathyroid tumor and I am scheduled to see surgeon in about ten days.   My specialist specialist appointments are on track for Friday.   Fingers crossed.

A very dear lady sent me a card recently that reminded me "slow and steady wins the race".   I am impatient to feel better and to not continue the ripple effect of chronic illness but I am VERY grateful that things haven't gotten worse and I  have good doctors, good friends and Mr. Jenny to help me through.   I tried visiting a few links last week and I'll try again this week!   Thank you for all the kind words last week.   I appreciated them and am researching!   So many good suggestions.   Thank you!

Alphabe-Thursday Letter U

Good morning class.

Welcome to round ten of Alphabe-Thursday! Today we will be studying the understated letter:



Unbelievable as it sounds, I'm waiting to see three different specialists in the next two weeks.  I'm still resisting the pain clinic but my willpower is waning...oh wait.   That's two 'w' words.   Sigh. 

At this point we seem to be fighting three different conditions.  I had a parathyroid tumor removed right before Thanksgiving and got relief from most of the deep bone pain for several weeks before it returned with a vengeance.  I am also unable to maintain Vitamin D with excessive amounts of vitamin B along with a myriad list of other blood issues.  Doing mega-dosing of D and had a long series of nuclear testing last week.  Seeing the endocrine specialist next week to determine if there are more parathyroid adenomas at this point.  The neuro pain has also accelerated greatly and that degeneration continues but I got accepted into a Rheumotoid research group AND a neuromuscular Group...both of whom I see Mid-April.  Thank heavens for insurance...and for the most patient, nurturing husband in the universe.   Still resisting the pain clinic, but my willpower is waning in that area.  Oh wait.   That was two "W" words.   Sigh.

Just thought I'd update you a little.   Visit a few extra links this week for me if you get a chance...I'd sure appreciate it!
