It's the dogs fault...

...that I can't update you here on the progress of my outfit dilemma for my Dad's Birthday party.

Don't be fooled by this innocent face......because at the other end of this innocent face is ... well ... ummmm... a wee wee (yes I know we're supposed to call things by their correct name and all but I just can't do it!)...

...yesirreeBob, there is a wee wee on this innocent looking weiner dog that decided that peeing behind the chair in my husbands office was preferable to walking about 50 steps to go outside...

...which resulted in my husband having to dry and deodorize the floor with some smelly stuff...

...which gave me a headache...

...which means I don't really care at the moment if I find something to wear or not.

But I feel reassured that I will intuitively know just the right thing to wear because I found this picture when I was sorting photos to make signs for my daughters 30th birthday that shows me in all my stylin' glory ... TA DA! So don't you worry about a thing!

I've got the outfit under control.

Kinda.

Sorta.

Too bad I can't get the weiner dogs wee wee kinda/sorta under control, too.

Sigh.

I laughed only because I share your pain - about the dog, that is. I have a dog who has a "wee wee", too, who also has a PHOBIA about wetness - as in wet grass, snow, etc.

I have tried to tell her that I have a phobia about wetness, too, as in wet carpet - but she just looks at me with that innocent face, tilts her head, and says, "Huh?"

Oh well. You are certainly stylin' in the photo. Good luck!

We have had dogs like that too! We have four now, was five till a while ago and they're all big. The biggest is 126lbs and the smallest is 60lbs and when they decide to pee indoors we sure know about it! They are all indoor dogs!

Well... it's cold and wet outside. I'd rather not have to do any out in wee wee in those conditions either. LOL LOve your glasses. And I'm sure you will pick out a great outfit! :-)

I laughed for I wore a pair of cat glasses similiar to those when I was in Juior High. Thought they were ugly on me then and still think they were pretty aweful on my when I glance at my photograph. On you, on the other hand, they look cute!!

Okay, thanks for clarifying about the costume thing before...makes much more sense to me now!

Love Love Love the glasses!!!

Do they make doggie diapers? I suppose that would be better than having your sweet pooch piddle puddles on the carpet! And, of course, a little weenie dog, would sink into the snow over its head, probably and freeze its tallywacker or tooshie so no wonder he/she prefers the nice warm house and the carpet.

By the way, today I posted about your contest on my blog at:

Cute picture!!

I can't use the "correct" word either. I don't know why, except that the proper word sounds worse to me. :)

I feel for you on the dog using your house to go potty. I'll just say that our puppy seems to have an upset stomach on a daily basis (If you know what I mean...) and it is hard to deal with!

Have a great weekend!

I don't want to hear about that little bit of wee wee. I have a 150lb bullmastiff. You don't know diddly about wee wee missy.

Flowing rivers of wee wee, because Daddy shut the doggy door again.

and why does this happen the day I wear my new velvet shoes?

My youngest female cat needs her wee wee clamped. Can you help me with that? I suppose you would have done it already with your weiner dog.
THat PICTURE IS PRICELESS!!!!!

What is with those weiner dogs anyway? Do ANY of them ever house train?

Can't wait to see what you come up with for your outfit. Those glasses were HOT. LOL

I got it! Copy that adorable picture onto the white oversized shirt with the rolled up jeans and go with a HUGE smile! You know, gotta be *yourself*!
As for the doggie wee wee or pee pee thing ( I won't say penis) I think I'd have to threaten behavior school if it keeps up (O:
Thanks again Jenny for being you...

ugh...dachschunds. i think it's a curse that comes with that adorable face. our little weiner dog REFUSED to pee outside. she's no longer with us...not because we got rid of her, but because she took a nap under my husband's tire. oops.

That sweet little dog didn't do what you said, I just know it isn't true:) Perhaps tomorrow you can get out and find you an outfit. Enjoy your evening!

Dachshunds are SO much fun to housebreak - NOT! DH says it's because they are stubborn Germans (like him). I say it's because they don't want those tender bellies rubbing on the icky grass. Love the photo, you were adorable! I know you'll find just the right thing to wear. Kathy

We have my late mama's doxie and their innocent faces are quite deceiving. After being rescued from a breeder, she will only wee wee on pee pads INDOORS!!! She can stay outside forever and never wee wee!!! Oh well, we love her dearly. I agree that some of the carpet deodorizers give me a terrific headache too! Cute pic and adorable eyeglasses!

Blame it on the dog!

I can still see that little girl in your profile picture, Jenny!

I. Love. Dachshunds. I want one so bad, but I've heard they tend to have this problem. With their wee wees. Let me know if/how you get this problem resolved. He's sure a cutie.

What a fantastic picture! It's truly worth a thousand words...whimsical, sweet, cute, precious...the list could go on and on but it's bedtime so I'll leave it at that! :-)

We have a 13 1/2 year old female beagle. In the past year she has been on steriods 3 times...they don't tell you what steriods do to a dog's bladder. Let's just say that my husband couldn't keep up...we had to call in the professionals.

How UNBELIEVABLY CUTE! (You, not the dog's, ahem, antics.) Holy Toledo! I adore it! It's so perfectly dated, but you're so full of life and sparkle.

My 15 pound alpha decided, when I took the blankets and sheets off the bed, temporarily laying them on the floor, that he should raise his short leg and aim his even shorter apparatus at the sheets, leaving me what we call urinary commentary.

I still like animals better than people.
