It was a totally innocent remark.
"Chatter, chatter,” I said.
And then she said, “Chatter, chatter, chatter…”
So, I go, “Chatter, chatter, chatter, chatter?!?”
And then she said to me, “Ccccchhhatter…”
“Seriously? And in that tone of chatter? Can you believe that? She actually stutter chattered. Holy nuts! The nerve of some squirrels! Hardly in the Christmas spirit at all.”
Mutter, mutter, mutter, chatter, chatter….

thank you so much for the much needed laugh!!!
Love this! It made me smile.
Thanks for grading my beach family painting and glad that my little one reminds you of your middle Grandlittle. I just love your "way with words." Although I was an English major in college, I never had such a talent for writing as you do, along with a wonderful sense of humor!
'Hope that you have a wonderful holiday season!
A sweet Christmas squirrel.
Perfect squirrel dialogue!
