I was certain today was the day...

...so I grandly declared it to Mr. Jenny when I got out of bed this morning.

"I am cookied/candied/salty-treated out!" I said firmly!

"I am never, ever, ever, ever going to eat Christmas cookies/candy or salty stuff.   Again!

Ever."

Mr. Jenny is a kind man, though.

Because when he saw me munching on a Russian Teacake with my coffee...

which by the way is the best kind of Christmas cookie...EVER!...and there was only one left in the freezer in the garage which I just happened to stop by on my way to ... ummm...  my exercise bike (NOT!)

... he didn't even roll his eyes at me.

Or at least he didn't even roll his eyes at me that I saw.

I guess he really knew that little innocent Russian Teacake was the last cookied/candied/salty-treat I'm going to eat.

Ever.

Sigh.

PS.  Happy New Years Eve!

PSS.  If your name is Eve, please allow me to extend the following wishes to you...HAPPY NEWS YEARS EVE, EVE!

PSSS.   You know?   There might be one more Russian Teacake in that freezer hidden under the peanut butter blossom cookies.   ACCCCCKKKKK!!!!!!!

I understand what you are talking about! WHY would Kroger put Hershey Kisses on sale... WHY? Oh well, when they are gone... that is it for me too, unless there is a marshmallow Santa in the fridge:) Have a blessed evening and a SUPER Happy New Year!

I understand... Saying that as I lie here like a beached whale. I cannot move. I need a moving van to haul my stomach around! Why did I do it? Why?

Happy New Year!

I just dumped the last of the cookies in the trash yesterday minus the few hubs picked out for his little treat box by the bed when he reads at night. I got your card a couple of days ago. Thank you so much! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. My blogging has been very bad this past year, I am going to try and remedy that this coming year.

You are so funny!
Luckily for me, Christmas cookies aren't really a problem. I hate shortbread (read dry) cookies. Every other kind of cookie is a problem though.
