Welcome to week ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE of Saturday Centus.
If you celebrate Easter, I hope yours is lovely.
This week I thought I'd go a totally different direction.
I hope it's a direction that challenges you.
The first sentence of your SC this week is:
"OUR FINGERS ENTWINED LIKE RIBBONS OF LIGHT"
From that compelling beginning, please write 100 words.
So..
The first seven words of your story will be the prompt...
...and then write in your usual creative and amazing style.
It will be interesting to see what we each come up with starting with the exact same sentence.
Perhaps the Easter egg dye has gotten to my brain, but I think this might be fun!
Number of words: 107 total
Style of writing: Any
Additional Pictures: Any
The regular restrictions apply: PG, no splitting of the prompt, play nicely and visit the other entries, any style or genre of writing you prefer. Please display my link button or just a hyper-link back to Saturday Centus. Be careful to link your SC URL to the Linky and not just link to your main blog.
E-mail me directly with ???'s or ask your question in a comment and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
Feel free to link up any time between now and next Saturday...

do you mean each time we start a sentence it will have to start with "Our fingers entwined..."?
quite a challenge, I will have to think on that.
have a sweet day.
there was a little confusion there but mostly because I wasn't quite awake.
anyway, I wrote my piece and it was good to write it.
have a sweet day.
Our fingers entwined like ribbons of light as I reached heavenward to take hold of the Lord's hand. He is my Comforter, my Provider, my Healer, and my Friend and Father. He is the God in whom I do trust, and His promises are greater than anything that my mind can even conceive for which I give thanks, even in the shadow of grief. Especially in the shadow of grief because the light of the empty cross looms larger and brighter than anything. For that, and for friendships with friends like you, Jenny, I give thanks now and always.
Have a Blessed Easter...
All my love,
Sheila
You were right. It was fun!!
Oh shoot. I missed the part that said the first seven words have to be the prompt. Hope you'll forgive me, Ms. Jenny.
;)
Happy Easter, Jenny! As it's now after midnight. I paid attention this week and got your instructions right! Even though you don't mind if we slip up once in a while! Right?!
"Jenny Matlock" has been included in the A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.
