My Dearest Love...

This ridiculous little letter is linked to week 156 of Saturday Centus.   The prompt (used annoying and often) is highlighted.   To read other offerings using this two word prompt, just click here.

Dear John.

I love you.

It’s as simple as that.

So often I long for you. I seek you out.

When I don’t see that special shine of yours, I feel bereft.

And hopeless.

Dear John.

You are a beacon to the longing inside me.

A comfortable embrace at the end of a long search.

A solid place to rest in times of need.

Dear John.

Even when you are unkempt and disheveled I am glad to see you.

There is no substitute for you, Dear John.

Especially at my age.

Finding a bush to pee behind can be so difficult…

Which is why I always prefer you…

Dear John.
