Husbands!

Seriously.

Women would never, ever, ever do what some husbands do.

There you are.

At an event.

Wearing a shirt that you think is slimming.

Feeling all positive about yourself.

And then you get home and download photos.

And...

...ummm...

OMG!

OMG!

Seriously?

Seriously!!!!

Who is that person in those photos?!?

Surely...

Surely...

That is not me.

Me! of the sticking to a dumb diet for 6 weeks now...

Me!  of the walking a bazillion miles in the gazillion degree heat.

Me!

Gosh.

Let me show you what I mean.

Take a deep breath.

Okay.

Here you go!

You seriously didn't think I was going to show you the picture, did you?

Nosirree, Bob.

Ain't gonna happen.

Okay.   Off to walk another gazillion miles in the bazillion degree heat.

And, please...

If you know what's good for you...

Don't let Mr. Jenny take a picture of you...

Sigh...

A camera is not my best friend either, Jenny, unless of course... it's in MY hands!

My husband and Sandy's husband must be related, because he did the same thing last year and I'm STILL walking. (And trying to recover from THAT photo.)

LOL!! I'm literally laughing out loud right now. This was one of the funniest posts I've seen with that black box in place of a photo. Hilarious.

If I see Mr. Jenny here at the beach, I am ducking behind a palm tree;). Hugs

Only seriously photo-shopped and well-chosen photos of Yours Truly ever appear on my blog. Thanks for the warning about Mr Jenny - and good luck with the walking! It sounds awful in that heat!

At my house this issue is exacerbated by the fact that MY Mr. like to take pix of my backside! Argh!!!

I can soooo relate to your post!! I am very camera shy...a few weeks ago I was photographed in a group pic as we presented a comfort quilt to a friend. I made the mistake of standing next to another dear friend who weighs 89#'s soaking wet. I looked like AMAZON WOMAN next to her - remind me to get to the back row next time. I much prefer being on the opposite end of the camera...

I look at photos of myself and think...who is that 'fluffy' lady? OK maybe I use other words to describe me...but you understand. Keep on walking! I'm trying to eat less and move more...well I'm thinking about it anyway! hugs, Linda

Why do our husbands do this?
I'm sure you look great but a bad picture can make one swirl into a funk. Oh wait, that's probably just me.

Hi Jenny,
I keep wondering that - who is that old person in that picture? Damn, it's me ~ funny how we see ourselves much, much younger than the reality.
Ah well, from a 50+ birthday girl today.

I hate having my picture taken. I seriously am NOT photogenic. I am envious of those who are. I bet you didnt look as bad as you thought you did though.

Bahahahahaha ! I have learned to strategically place myself in photos behind other people. As long as my head is in the photo I'm good. Recently at a family party, I refused to sit down in the front row for a family photo. I hid behind my Hubs and my BIL who are thankfully bigger and let me tell you, my Hubs was miffed and my BIL just laughed !!!

I've been married a long time.
In our house there was four daughters, a grand daughter, a mother in law, wife and I. I not very smart, but I've learned a thing of two along the way about how to keep a happy household. I like to take photos. Lot's of photos. I ALWAYS give the females in the photo plenty of warning so they can adjust their poses and clothes, so that they have at least a chance of liking the photo. Women hate being surprised by someone with a camera.
