Baby oh Baby...

The places "U'll" take you!

Sorry Dr. Seuss. That was a bad use of your great phrasing, but I needed something intellectual to introduce my "U" post for this weeks Alphabe-Thursday.

My little Alphabet helper girl was trying to take the day off.

I had to use a little reverse psychology on her. "Gee," I said, "I wonder if you are even strong enough to help me with the letter 'U' this week?"

She was.

"I wonder if you are even SWEET enough to help me with the letter 'U' this week?"

She was.

"I wonder if you are even silly enough to help me with the letter 'U' this week?"

She was.

Finally, I said, "So, who's ready to help me with the letter 'U'?"

"I am, I am!"

So she did!

I used the wrong setting on my camera, but the top picture is, "I'm ready", followed by her pointing to her eyes, then making a heart and lastly making a letter 'U'.

I said, "Morgan, the word you actually starts with the letter 'Y'" to which she replied, "I know, I know, but I need to eat lunch now. I'm starving Gwamma!"

And in the interest of not making the child suffer more, please consider this my official 'U' post for Alphabe-Thursday. To read other 'U' posts, just click here.

Hm...I think I might just have to get my kids to help me out on a few posts too! Kids love cameras so much. When do we outgrow that, I wonder?

What an adorable helper! I was wondering if the lunch you had started with the letter U, but then I realised that there aren't many food that begin with U. Unless you prepared urchin, unsweetened chocolate, unleavened bread, Udon noodles or......that's it. I'm out of ideas.
