Painting my way through the Alphabet!

I used to paint.

A lot.

And then I got away from it for various reasons.

About a year ago I dug out my old paints and have been dabbling.  I find I am unable to paint the way I used to (and the way I often want to) due to shaky hands, but I found this alternate way of making signs by lettering and layering paints that I'm quite pleased with.

I'm going to commit (quite publicly...ACCCCCKKK!) to painting 26 signs for the Alphabet.

Wish me luck.

I'm starting at the very beginning...

...which in this case in the letter

A

A is for "All you need is Love"

No stencils.   No stickers.  Handpainted with my own layout.

I love it!

This is going to be a fun round of the Alphabet!   Thanks for stopping by.   To visit other A links, just click here.

Jenny, I love the Beatles, still! And I have always liked that song!
Will you be doing all song titles for this letter go-around?

The Beatles - All You Need Is Love Lyrics: (www.lyrics007.com)

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say, but you can learn
How to play the game
It's easy.
Nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do, but you can learn
How to be you in time
It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love. Love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love. Love is all you need
..

Whoa! That is impressive.

And so much cuter and more desirable than the cookie-cutter style signs you can buy.

=)

I painted a bit before my son was born, then I had no time anymore. I started again in 1990 from the very beginning was at art school and painting lessons (still do) but since I have discovered photography, all my creativity goes into the photos and I find my paintings a boring now. Always cats anyway, lol !
Yes I agree, all we need is love !

My sweet Jenny,
I'm afraid I am seriously challenged in the creativity department. My strength lies in expressing the beauty of love (smile). Your hands are truly blessed, as is your heart. I love this. Looking forward to the next 25. Thanks for sharing.
