Well, maybe I don't!

It was our moment.

The scent of jasmine filled the air. A harp and a flute played romantic harmonies in the background.

Our two hearts would soon be joined forever as one.

“I do,” I pledged in a strong, sure voice.

He, however, did not do quite so well in his return pledge to me.

Writing our own vows had allowed me to express some concerns about his one major obsession.

“Do you forsake all others, including Friday night football?”, the minsters voice floated over the crowd.

The horror on my grooms face told me his own ‘I do’ might not be forthcoming.

This little story is linked quite late to Week 75 of Saturday Centus. The prompt is in bold and it uses exactly 100 additional words.

I think there are many men out there who would balk at that one!

This is the scariest thing I've ever read...no sports-loving guy worth his salt is going to agree to your unreasonable demands - imagine if the groom asked if you'd forsake chocolate?

Even at this late hour...I know it's time for me to get to bed....morning will be here soon! I'm almost all caught up....and I don't have as many posts to cover as you do! Let me tell you again, if you haven't heard it lately...I so appreciate your dedication to your posts, and how you always answer everyone with such kind and wonderful words! You Are AWESOME JENNY!

Somebody's going to be in deep dodo! We've been going to the Friday night home football games this season. It's fun because (maybe I've said this before) we went as teens to see our friends, but now we go, or at least I go, to see who looks older than we do! Guffaw! But what is this obsession men have with football? I love your post! And I hope you're feeling much better.
