T is for Thankful

We should all be thankful for those people who kindle the inner spirit.

Albert Schweitzer

This quote was brought to you by Alphabe-Thursday's letter T. To read other T posts, just click here.

And I'd also like to share a Thankful Giveway that PJ is doing this week. This message is from PJ. To visit her blog, just click here.

As most of you know, PJ @ Seens From The Backs Of My Eyelids, has a brother, Henry, who lost everything he owned to fire on Saturday, July 24, 2011. The outpouring of help for Henry was so overwhelming, PJ would like to thank you all in a special way.

On next Wednesday evening, September 7th, she will have the computer randomly select three names from her Wednesday blogpost this week.

The first name selected will win a $100 e-certificate to Amazon.com.

The second name selected will win a $75 e-certificate to Amazon.com.

The third name selected will win a $50 e-certificate to Amazon.com.

All you have to do to enter my drawing is be a follower, leave a comment and MAKE SURE THERE IS A LINK TO YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR COMMENT. Easy peasy, right?

Before the end of the day on Thursday, September 8th, PJ will contact the winners and before the end of the day on Friday, September 9th, she will have the e-certificates sent from Amazon to the winners.

I try so hard to maintain my attitude of gratitude. I am so amazingly blessed.
I also apologize for last week. I don't think I made the 10 comment quota. I do my comments on the weekend. We got a bit hurricane obsessed, and I may have fallen short by a few.. I'll go back and do some extras this weekend.

At the risk of sounding cheesy, Thank you, Jenny! You are a kindler. :)

And it is amazing how good people can be, isn't it? I am glad so many people were able to help.

I am thankful. I have so much to be thankful for. Maybe if we all thought about what we have to be thankful for everyday instead of what we don't have, it will wash away the blues, get rid of greed and the jealousy, spread more love and make us humm with joy. ~Ames

I love your post and your picture! Thanks for stopping by aprons and old lace. It's nice to know that there is still a constant motion to the chaos of everyday life. I am so sorry to be away so long and away from my blogging friends. :( With school, major family events, community meetings, PTO, and a new project...it's getting crazier and I feel as if I've lost my sense of organization and sense of everything....ah! I think I'm getting it in order and making a major comeback. :) Thanks again.

Jenny, what a perfect T word! Moreover, I love the quote. :)

A big thanks for always visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments. I know that you lovingly do so with all your Alphabe-Thursday participants -- you are incredible!

Oh, don't worry about just a few people visiting my blog because I usually come at the end of the link list. This time I visit everyone and leave a direct link. Let's see if I can get people to come over and comment that way. :) If they don't come over, it's their loss -- they miss out another wonderful post my me. LOL! ;)

Big hugs,
Birgit
