So yesterday I told you about my whole multi-tasking embarrassment attempting to get a pedicure while getting my hair dyed.
Sigh.
When I got back to the salon, my hair cutting lady, Sylvia, shook her finger at me.
Wow.
Yeah.
Like THAT would stop me next time.
ha!
I know Sylvia quite well so I don't know why she was surprised that I was trying to maximize my time.
Geez.
Anyway.
She motioned me toward the wash bowl.
As I saw down I saw a sweet, older lady sitting at the dryer right across from the wash station.
"I love that color of lavender you're wearing," I told her as I sat down.
She smiled at me and told me it was her favorite color!
We smiled at each other.
Sylvia informed me she was going to dye my eyebrows, cut my hair and then take my eyebrow color off.
I felt her dab some stuff on my eyebrows and then wash my hair.
When I sat up the sweet, older lady looked shook.
"My word!" she said. "Oh. My word!"
Hmmmm...
I didn't realize WHY she said that until Sylvia turned my chair toward the mirror.
MY WORD!
OH!
MY!
WORD!

Ha ha, I have seen that same look on myself in the hairdressers chair so I'm pretty sure it turned our okay.
Oh my word!!!! LOL
Jenny I get my eyebrows colored too. You are braver than I - I would never take my photo while doing that. Too funny!!
you are just too cool lady, too cool...
HA! That's not you. I refuse to believe it.
Love,
Janie
Oh my word! You're a brave soul to photograph yourself at the beauty salon.
Channeling the inner Groucho indeed!
As I've gotten older I've found the stray eyebrow hair that likes to keep growing well beyond when it should stop. And to think I only used to have tweezing my unibrow to complain about!
I am ALWAYS shocked at the sight I see in the mirror at my hairdresser's!
Hahaha! I love that you shared a photo. Possibly the best photo I have seen in a long time. I bet that lady got quite a shock!
Oh my goodness....thank you so much for making me laugh this morning! That is hilarious!!! The things we do for beauty. You are a doll.
XOXO
hahaha
You crack me up.
=D
You are so funny! That was a good one. I laughed out loud...
When you complimented the elderly lady about the lavender, were you referring to her hair?
