Things that go crash...

...often do so at night.

Or at least they did here last week.

I have been unable to put anything into the POD because...

Someone...

Who shall remain nameless...

and is suffering from a broken foot...

(ahem)...

backed into the POD with our only CAR...

last week...

And did five days worth of repair damage on the car...

while...

rendering the door of the POD useless.

So...

Now we wait for the insurance on the POD to be taken care of so they can replace the door so we can continue to pack to move.

THUMP.

THUMP.

THUMP.

Yes, that is me beating my head against the wall.

Thank heavens the job training felt more manageable today!

Sigh.

Sigh...

SIGH.....

So does that mean you are without a car for five days? Do you need someone to run essential errands for you, like making a run to Coldstone Creamery for 10 gallons of double fudge nut surprise??

Good grief, Miss Jenny! Hoping those stars realign soon & life can become more balanced!

Oh goodness Jenny Matlock, you all have had your share of bumps lately! My husband backed into our garage door one morning MANY years ago! He thought the door was up but it had stopped:( Had to replace the door!

Hope the days AND nights go a bit smoother for you all! HUGS!

Oh, dear. Moving is always a pain. And so is all the stuff that inevitably happens to make it even more difficult.

This, too, shall pass.
This, too, shall pass.
This, too, shall pass.

(repeat after self)

ugh...could you ask Judie to swing by with some of that ice cream when she's done at your house? I stubbed my toe and my rear fender is duct-taped to the rest of the car where we slid down our driveway into a snowbank (last year) and uh...well, I'll think of something else... hmm...hope it gets better fast around your house!

What Judie said!!!

Just breathe...in and out; in the lotus position with thumbs and pointy fingers gently touching.

Something that helps me get through these times...in my Richard Simmons days...repeat after me, and speak louder each time, until you are screaming at the top of your tender lungs... IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER...it just doesn't matter, IITT JJUUSSTT DDOOEESSNN''TT MMAATTEERR!

Now, is that better? If not, go back to the Judie plan. I know that will work every time!

Bless you both!

Noooooo - you've had enough. Please leave some of those weird and aggravating things for someone else. You've had more than your share. (of course, I'll pass...not wanting to take more than my share here....)

Oh dear...what next? You've been having way more than your fair share of trouble lately. Things have just got to get better!

Stef said...

Oh stink! I hate it when stuff like that happens. But good thing you didn't mention his...I mean the name of the person. That would be embarassing.

Ms. A said...

Goodness gracious, what next? You've sure had a run of bad luck. Hopefully it'll turn around soon!

And you can't even accidentally stomp on someone's foot 'cause the other one's broken...then you'd have to carry the guilty party...no names of course.
AAAAArrrrrggggHHHHH. !
There. I said it for you and I'm glad I did.
Hope things get better soon.
Peace and love...and cyber hugs

Just think...

When you have finally moved house and Mr Jenny's foot is all healed up, and Grandlittle's arm is totally better and your new job isn't so new any more, you will be able to look back and heave a huge sigh of relief that it's all over!

Jenny and Steve! I am praying for you two! I do know the feeling! I have often looked into the sky and yelled "Why me God? what the heck did I do to deserve this?" But I also know this to shall pass! You have a new job and that looks so wonderful! You two need some TLC! Just take a breather and say this will soon be a distance memory we can chuckle over! Lots of hugs to you!
