This is my brain.

Or maybe I should say...this WAS my brain...(cute right?)

This is my brain now after shower and wedding planning, having my kitchen totally gutted and existing without a kitchen for five weeks (and it continues)WHILE getting ready to move and starting a new job.

Scary right?

Because although the shower and wedding have become just happy memories, and I have become extremely adept cooking in my laundry room, and I am as organized as an Air Force brat can possibly be for the move AND the trainers are fabulous and the online class is fabulous and everyone I talk to associated with Convergys is fabulous...(including the wickedly sweet Lauren who called me yesterday afternoon to check on my progress and to encourage me!)...

I'm old.

And my brain isn't what it used to be.

Really.

I have...GULP!...sparkler brain!

Yes, huh, that is a REAL disease.

Is, too.

But anyway...

Even though I am afflicted with the rare disease of sparkler brain, I did recall that I owed you a few more wedding pictures.

So here they are...

Before I show you them, I just have to tell you that Mr. Jenny is my favorite photographer. Most of the time.

Especially when the 'real' wedding photographer says to him, "You stay out of my way!" and Mr. Jenny retorts, "Yeah, that's fine, but YOU stay out of my WAY!" I'm not sure why, but that cracks me up.

I think it's the sparkler brain.

Since I am officially out of the denial phase that I have this disease, I've embraced the fact that sparkler brain has a side effect of making odd things disproportionately amusing. (It also give me a tendency toward using a lot of '...'s' and grammatically incorrect sentences in my writing...but, hey, that's a whole other subject... ... ... ... ... ...

Ahem.

...

...

Because when I see that Mr. Jenny has captured obscure images at events like this...

...it makes me giggle. A lot.

Moving on.

Finally, here's a bunch of other, slightly less obscure, photos including Mr. Jenny photographing the photographer, the best little caterer helper, EVER!, and other random reception pictures from my sister's firehouse wedding.

I am now returning to my sparkler brained life...

BUT!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a Happy Friday!

PS. Many of you know PJ from 'The Back of my Eyelids'...it's a sad day for her today. If you get a chance give her a shout by clicking here...and maybe send a prayer and a hug her way!

Fabulous way to break into a fire cracker of a beautiful life time together.... the firemen in their blues are all such handsome Firemen! Such a great way to celebrate right down to groom on under his number! Thanks for sharing, you did a great job considering all the stuff going on in your life right now! ;)

I love the pictures... just what is that formula on the whiteboard?!! Oh, I like the 'sparkler brain'.... I know what that is - I suffer from it as well!

Thanks for becoming one of my Blogger friends!
See you on Saturday... maybe some other days as well!

I believe I have something a lot more serious than sparkler brain. I just haven't found a name for it yet.

Glad the job is going well! Guess the computer stuff is OK now?

Enjoyed the wedding pictures. It sure looks like everyone had a great time.

I think it's so cool that they got married in the bucket, I think that's what it's called. How fun. Hopefully, life will settle down a little bit for you because frankly, I don't know how you're doing it even with the sparkle brain, ha

How fun and I love your awesome little helper!

I think I might have 'sparkler brain' also although I think we can both agree, we both have more sparkle and sass to keep our brains humming along even if we are kinda old !!!

I like to call it "NH" or Nuclear Brain...it's when you just can't process anything else or you will explode!

Sparkler brain sounds more feminine though....

Going over to see PJ....

Happy Weekend!

Anyone with all the things going on would have brain overload! In my previous house I had a kitchen remodel that took 2 years, so I know what chaos that might bring! A firefighter's wedding must really be fun. They're a tight bunch! (since their lives depend on each other with a fire, they'd better be!)

Jenny, not to be mean or anything, but I don't know how you have any brain-matter left right now! SO much going on in your life. I would be curled up in a little corner sucking my thumb.
Have you taken up drinking yet?
If you need some wine, just call me...I'll be right over!

Love the wedding...any happy occasion is a wonderful thing.

At least you still have "sparks" in order to have sparkler brain!

I am glad everything turned out wonderful for the wedding. So hey, sparkler brain...go get some sleep. You know...they are now saying that lack of sleep speeds up the process of Alzheimers aka Sparler brain. Hee hee I couldn't help my self. The little dirt smudge with the funny face that is on my PC screen made me do it. Well I am off to get another 12 hours of sleep.Goodnight Sparkler brain. Luv ya mean it.~Ames

My favorite shot is of Angie and Julia.

Thanks for the mention, Matlock. It was actually a cool day for me: sunrise service for Mom at the ocean; lunch with the awesome Lulu Kellogg, prepared by the awesome Stu; dinner and a DVD (The Help) with Shirley. Mom was everywhere.

I adore you! XOXO

After all of the upheaval you've been through, I think sparkler brain is to be expected. Hopefully, things will begin to settle down soon.

I'm sure those wedding pics will become treasured possessions, bringing much happiness in the future.

By the way, how is eldest grandlittle's arm these days?
