Silly Stinky Sunday Sweetness Giveaway

Good morning!

It's a lovely Sunday morning here with a cool breeze and a lovely blue sky.

And since Mr. Jenny and I are going to attempt something ridiculously athletic...like going for a hike...

I'm actually gonna be short and sweet with the Silly Stinky Sunday Sweetness giveaway.

And yes, I know I need to go to an Alliteration Addiction meeting.

But we'll talk about that another time.

So here is the giveaway.

Oh, it is sweetly stinky...

And it is purple...

And I hope you like it.

And if you don't like it, just don't enter the giveaway and life is sweet.

Or you can enter the giveaway and say something like "Jenny, your giveaways are dumb, I would never, ever enter this in a million years" ... but the choice is totally yours.

Huh?

This little shadow box is another one I got from Meri as a giveaway.
This sweet little vintage skunk figurine is set into a 5" x 4 1/2" shadow-box with some really neat bling. After all, every little skunk needs a sparkly house!

And to enter this giveaway just leave a comment on this post. And you have to be a follower.

Oh...and do a jumping jack or something.

Yea...just leave a comment on this post and do a jumping jack.

...

You're welcome.

I am doing what I can to keep Blog-land fit!

And I will pick a winner tomorrow morning before I do my Monday post...if I survive the hike today, that is...

And, of course, our charming Mr. Random Org will do the honors.

And now, with no further ado.

I bid you farewell...

Parting is such sweet sorrow...

Especially because it means I am leaving my comfy chair to go brave the wilds of Arizona.

Sigh.

Good luck and happy Sunday.

And as our Granddaughter Morgan likes to yell out the car window to Mr. Jenny as she leaves each day...

"Goodbye Stinky Underpants!"

I have no idea why she says that.

But since it is always immediately followed by an, "I love you Gampa!" I just go with it.

But I thought I'd wrap up my post with it anyway.

So...

Goodbye Stinky Underpants!

I came, I read, I giggle - I did not do a jumping jack because my legs are JELL-O from stupidly deciding to jog last night and I don't want the skunk because I have no place to put him! (so if Mr. Random.org picks my number you can pass me up!) Now - I have to find a way to stand up and go to the grocery store.

Good Morning Jenny Sweetie...
I hope that you and Mr. Stinkie Pants have a wonderful hike today. (I wonder if this is a grandkid name thing as we have one little grand daughter who likes to call DH the same thing.) A little breezy outside for me this morning.

I love this little skunk box that you purchased from sweet Meri. I am telling you she is so talented. I am sorry I was gone and did not get to see her showing, however I did purchase a little chickie I will be picking up soon. (one of her carvings)

Sorry I haven't gotten around sooner to see you. I came home last week from Maryland with what I thought was a cold, turns out Wednesday the Dr. told me I have pneumonia. I have had a time battling this round. Not a fun battle for sure. Enjoy the outdoors for me today too will you?

I pray you are well sweetie. Have a beautiful day full of happiness and a little sunshine. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

You are the dearest of the dear...just wanted to let you know how I feel...but you know I am having to downsize. Still, this is so cute that I wouldn't mind winning it! Happy hiking. Joyful Sunday, Madame Jenny!

Hahaha... the end of your post CRACKED me up! Because it sounded just like my son when he doesn't want to go to bed... talking, and rambling, and finding ANY way to avoid the task at hand. Heee! Little skunky is adorable, grandpa's nickname is hilarious, and ONE single solitary jumping jack has been done in your honor. And now my dog is staring at me.

Hi Jenny, I love this post, its hilarious!
My grandsons call my husband "Ironman Papa" because at 57 years old he is quite the athlete as you said.
I too am a quilter and can't wait to peruse your website, it already looks wonderfully dangerous:)
(oh and I have an easy Quiche recipe in April's archive ("Quiche Anyone?") if you are interested.

Thank you for stopping by my little blog. I was so thrilled, you posted, and I'm thrilled to have met through the wonderful World of Blogdom:0)
Most sincerely, Terry
PS I know you will have a wonderful day (based on your intro on your profile) but I wanted to say it anyway, have a lovely day!

What a funny little girl! I love it. So I want to enter, because I love all things vintage, but I feel just a little greedy, so I think I will just tell you how jealous I am of your living in AZ and being able to go out and about right now (we are still getting the white stuff) and have a fabulous Sunday Stinkypants!

It is amazing how they love to say anything about underwear (o:
I guess you didn't break your leg yesterday leaping over the railing or you wouldn't be going for a hike today....have fun.

The shadow boxes are adorable but I wouldn't be interested in getting one. I'm at the stage of life where I'm trying to reduce my possessions--not accumulate them.

Hey Jenny! Thanks so much for stopping by Meggie's Stuff. Yes, I love crocs even if they are a fashion faux pas. My feet literally SCREAM if I try to squeeze them into anything else. I hope you and Mr. Jenny had an invigorating hike today. You didn't have to call EMS, did you?! It always helps if you carry some spare oxygen...comes in bottles, you know. If I lived closer, we could go to garage sales together. AND, I have a truck! Can you imagine the junk we could accumulate between the two of us? I'll be visiting from time to time. Ciao for now!

"Goodbye Stinky Underpants!"..oh my gosh!! I'm so laughing at that one!

When my oldest was about 3, he had a profuse speech impediment. for a couple of years, I was about the only one that could understand him. One day we were driving down the road and the aroma that is so easily identifiable as "spray" wafted into our car via the vents...and my cutiepatootie child crinkles up his precious little nose and proclaims, "mama! I mella nunk!"
I still think of that EVERYTIME we drive through a skunk aroma stretch of highway!
