Thomas Hood wrote...

'Tis like the birthday of the world,
When earth was born in bloom;
The light is made of many dyes,
The air is all perfume:
There's crimson buds, and white and blue,
The very rainbow showers
Have turned to blossoms where they fell,
And sown the earth with flowers.

...and my garden agrees...

Awww, thanks Jenny for a look at Spring for real! Still too cold for much to grow in my corner of the world. Love the little bird too...

My blooms all have a dusting of snow on them this morning-they all look sugar-coated. I love the little bird in your last picture.

I decided I really need to trade you houses. Your yard is drool worthy (as in when I see it I drool). Those are such beautiful flowers! And did you pay that bird to pose for you, or was he a volunteer because he would get to sit in the bliss of your flowers?

Hi Jenny,

I'm officially jealous!!!!!!!! My yard used to look good......once upon a time. Now with the husband gone all the time and my disabilities, the yard looks like crap! So, I guess I'll just have to come over and enjoy yours, or if you keep posting lovely piccy's, I can just do it vicariously!

i might have told you this already...because i am whining all over the internet about it...we lost everything in our garden in a cold snap last week--all our tomato plants...all our veggies...all our blossoms on our 10 fruit trees...now the plum, peach and pear trees look like they are dying. i am so sad...

Oh, Jenny... these are geooooorgeous!!! I'm so sorry I haven't been 'round in awhile. Long story, but I have missed you.

You asked me awhile back if I used to have another blog; yes, I did, but my good hubby-buddy hadda' rent a tow truck to come an put me out of the mire I had dug myself into. So I don't do much with those other blogs I had. Life is easier that way.

Beautiful flowers, pictures and poem. My flowers are bigger and prettier than any other year. I think it's because of all the snow we got this past winter. I'm glad some good came from the worst winter I ever remember. :-)
Have a Great weekend, Jen!!

Coreen
