Toadally Cute

I need to be honest here.

Making craft projects with Grandlittles in a house with no kitchen is ... ummm... challenging.

Especially craft projects that involve sticky things.

Especially when all the stuff from the three rooms gutted for water damage is kinda/sorta piled around in the other rooms.

BUT!

We are brave.

We are resourceful.

We are creative females ready to have a good time.

A good time involving apples, marshmallows, raisins and other sticky substances.

...and since we are brave, resourceful and creative females, we are willing to share our creations with Grandpa. Because that's how were are...

...even though he doesn't volunteer to help clean up.

And, yes, I know these are frogs...but I couldn't think of a cute word with frog in it.

And...just in case you're wondering...we are going to be kitchen-less for another four or five weeks...which will be just around the time we are moving.

At least I won't have to clean the kitchen before we go!

Can't believe I "toadally" missed your post, "that little leak that could"...shocking what havoc water can cause and inspiring how you handle it, still smiling and crafting with the beautiful grandlittles. Love the cute fruit toads/frogs!

Very cute! I've had to revert to my old dinosaur monitor for a while and the color is really dark so I can't see the pictures as well as I'd like. I love that you do these fun projects with them!

Oh, sweet Jenny I am surprised there is not a sting of children miles long at your front door claiming to be one of your grandlittles. What wonderful fun you have with them. Those frogs are just adorable as are the grandlittles. Wonderful pictures! Hugs

When the twins were here, I sat each down with some pastels and paper, and had them create a small painting for each of their parents. Then I matted and framed their work in 8x10 frames. They are a little young for the project you did with the girls, but they will get there--sooner than later!! Your grandlittles will always remember this!

Only a truly brave and creative and loving Grandma would make such great projects without having an actual kitchen to do it in...which makes me wonder what creative projects grandma's did on the frontier...because living without a kitchen is clearly what a frontier grandma had to put up with...and I have no idea where I am going with this.
